Page speed test
Every published app and site is measured with Google's Lighthouse on a simulated phone, several runs a page, and graded on the median speed score, with the largest paint, the layout shift and the page weight reported beside it.

What the page speed test is
Speed is measured the same way for every builder, from one place, with the same tool and settings. App builders are measured on the sign-in page and the timetable; website builders on the home page and one inner page of each of the three sites. The daily page speed monitor then keeps measuring the same sites after the review, which is a separate tool under the monitors.
How it works
- Lighthouse is run on each page three times with its default mobile settings: a simulated phone and a slowed connection.
- Each run records the speed score out of a hundred, the time to the largest paint, the layout shift, the blocking time and the page weight.
- The median score over the runs is the figure graded, and the other figures are reported with it.
- A layout check opens the same pages at phone, tablet and desktop width and lists sideways scrolling, elements wider than the screen, tiny text and small tap targets.
What it records
- Per run
- Score, largest paint, layout shift, blocking time, first paint, speed index, bytes and requests.
- Per review
- The median score per page and the layout faults per width.
What it cannot catch
- One location and a simulated phone, not a real handset on a real network.
- Free-plan reviews measure the vendor's preview address, which can differ from a published site.
- Some reviews measured the start page only, and say so.
Where it was used
Every published review that ran this checker, with the figure it produced there, read from the review’s own data. Each figure opens the test results behind it.
