Four live monitors · built and run by RankDude

Live monitors of the tools I test

Reviews are a snapshot. These four monitors keep measuring after the review is published: whether the sites I built on each builder stay up, how fast they load, how safe they are, and what the builder charges today.

The four monitors

Each one checks the same test sites: the shop, café and photographer I build on every builder I review, hosted by the builder. Open a monitor for every builder’s figures and history.

Every builder on every monitor

One row per builder, one column per monitor. Each figure links to that builder’s page on that monitor, with its history and the test sites behind it.

Builder

Uptime is the share of checks answered during the 30-day test. Speed and security scores are medians of the last 7 days, out of 100. Prices are the lowest listed paid plan, in US dollars, read from the pricing page.

How the monitors work

01

The same sites, on every builder.

During each review I build three sites from the same briefs: a shop, a café and a photographer. They stay up after the review, hosted by the builder, so the monitors measure what a customer gets.

02

The same check, from the same place.

Every monitor runs from one fixed location on a fixed schedule, with the same thresholds for every builder. A failed read of my own connection is thrown out, never counted against a brand.

03

The figures feed the grades.

Each review carries its uptime, speed, security and price findings from these monitors. The grades update while a test runs and are frozen when it ends, and no brand can change them.

Questions

What are the RankDude monitors?

Four checks RankDude built and runs itself on the sites it builds during each review: an uptime monitor that opens the sites every 5 minutes for 30 days, a daily Google Lighthouse speed test, a daily security and privacy check, and a daily read of each builder's pricing page. No outside status service is used.

Why test sites I built instead of each builder's homepage?

Because your site is what matters. A builder's own homepage can stay up, load fast and be locked down while the sites it hosts for customers are not. Every monitor checks the shop, café and photographer sites I build on each builder, hosted by the builder.

Which tools are monitored?

The website and app builders with a published review: 14 so far. A builder joins the monitors when its review is published, and the figures feed the uptime, speed, security and price grades in that review.

Can a brand change its figures?

No. Every builder is checked the same way, from the same place, on sites I built and paid for. The code and the data are mine, and the monitors do not try to break into anything.

How are these different from the statistics pages?

The monitors measure the tools themselves, every day. The statistics pages measure each category's market once a month: visits from Google, brand searches, demand and forecasts for every tracked site, tested or not.
