Affiliate links

Some links from a review to the tool it covers are affiliate links. If you subscribe after following one, the tool pays RankDude a commission at no extra cost to you. Each review says in its disclosure line whether its links are affiliate links or plain links. A commission never changes a grade, a ranking, or a sentence of a review, and tools with no affiliate programme are tested and ranked exactly the same way.

Test accounts

Each review states how its test account was obtained: bought at the public price, used on a free tier, or provided by the vendor. A vendor-provided account is accepted only when it is the practical way to test paid features, is disclosed on the review, and gives the vendor no say in the grades and no preview of the text.

What never happens

• No grade is changed for money, a link, or a relationship.
• No review is written from a press kit or a feature list.
• No vendor sees a review before publication.
• No sponsored content appears without a label.
