OpenClaw had zero visits from Google in RankDude data until February 2026. By September, it got 53.9% of all AI personal assistant visits, while the market more than tripled. The strange part? Searches for its name crashed, yet its visits kept climbing.
The short version
- OpenClaw: zero visits before February, now 53.9% of all visits.
- +233.9%: AI assistant visits from Google in one year.
- 74,000: OpenClaw US name searches in September, down from 1 million.
- Motion: last year's leader, down 70.7%, now fourth.

A record month
AI personal assistant sites got about 1.4 million visits from Google in September.
A year earlier, they got about 421,000. That's more than three times as many.
September also beat August by 24.7%. It's the highest month in my data.
So who brought all those new visitors?
The new kid
Meet OpenClaw. It had zero visits in my data until February 2026.
In September, it got about 758,000 visits. That's 53.9% of the whole market.
It brought in nearly 77% of the year's growth on its own.
Take it away, and the market still grew 54%. So others grew too.
But OpenClaw has a strange secret.
Fewer searches, more visits
In February and March, Americans searched its name about 1 million times a month.
In September? About 74,000. The buzz cooled down a lot.
Yet its visits from Google kept climbing. That's wild.
My guess? People now find it through other searches, not just its name. I can't prove that here.

The fallen king
A year ago, Motion got about 287,000 of those 421,000 visits.
That's about 7 in 10 visits. Nobody else came close.
Now Motion gets about 84,000. That's down 70.7% in a year.
It's now fourth, behind OpenClaw, Sai by Simular and Poke.
So who's climbing fastest right now?
The fast climbers
Sai by Simular had about 1,500 visits in October 2025.
In September, it had about 199,000. It grew 61.1% in just one month.
Fyxer went from about 5,700 visits to about 63,000 in a year.
Not everyone is winning. Shortwave fell 92.6% in a year, to about 1,200 visits.

“The market tripled. Motion somehow got smaller. That's a rough year.”

Almost every logo maker is sliding on Google. One went up, and last year's leader fell off a cliff.

Google visits to AI phone assistants soared. Allo grabbed nearly every new one, and it wasn't always on top.
