AI logo sites halved in a year. Guess who grew 39.5%.
Almost every logo maker is sliding on Google. One went up, and last year's leader fell off a cliff.

RankDude data shows AI logo sites lost 50.2% of their Google visits in a year. The site that grew 39.5% anyway? Design.com. And the site that used to beat it has crashed.
The short version
- -50.2%: AI logo site visits from Google in one year.
- Design.com: up 39.5%, now nearly 4 in 10 visits.
- Looka: last year's most visited site, down 77.1%.
- Playground: down 92%, mostly in one month.

A long slide down
AI logo sites got about 6.4 million visits from Google in September.
A year earlier, they got about twice that. So visits fell by about half.
September alone was down 16% from August.
It's also the lowest month in my data. The peak was October 2024.
So everyone is losing, right? Not quite.
The one that grew
Design.com went from about 1.8 million visits to about 2.5 million.
That's up 39.5% in a year, while the market halved.
It's now the most visited AI logo site by far. It gets nearly 4 in 10 of all visits.
It did dip in September, from about 2.7 million in August. But it's still way up on last year.
Now for the strange part. Who was on top before?
The numbers
- All AI logo sitesin 12 months
- -50.2%
- Design.com in a yearmost visited site
- +39.5%
- Playground in a yearsteepest fall
- -92%
The fallen leader
A year ago, Looka had about 2.4 million visits. That beat Design.com.
Now Looka has about 557,000. That's down 77.1%.
Then there's Playground. It had about 980,000 visits a year ago.
In September, it had about 78,000. That's down 92% in a year.
Most of that drop came in one month. It fell 87.6% from August to September. That's wild.
Is anyone else climbing?
A small riser
Yes. Logomakerr.ai more than doubled, up 118.2% in a year.
It went from about 118,000 visits to about 257,000.
Fewer Americans search for logo brands by name, too. US brand searches fell 54.7% in a year.
My guess? People still want logos, but fewer find them through these sites on Google. I can't prove that from this data.

“The market halved. Design.com just kept eating everyone else's lunch.”
How I measured this
Visits are DataForSEO estimates of visits from Google search, worldwide. They are estimates, not people. More in my methodology and on the DataForSEO page.

More from the blog
Google's coding agent lost nearly half its visits. OpenCode didn't.
The most visited coding agent dragged the whole market down. A smaller rival jumped 43% and has never dipped.
This market grew 29x. One app took almost all of it.
Google visits to AI phone assistants soared. Allo grabbed nearly every new one, and it wasn't always on top.
Record month for AI agents. A crashed site did over half.
Genspark kept just 1 in 8 of its visits in March. In September, it drove most of the market's growth.
