Google Ads returned no worldwide figure for "ai agents for coding" this month, so only the US figure is shown.

Brand-name searches leave out Aider, Amp, Antigravity, Cline, Continue, Cursor, Devin, Jules, Kiro, OpenHands, Pi, Sculptor, Tabby, Warp, ZCode and Zed: the name is shared with an ordinary word or another product.

2How many people visited

In plain words: These sites got more visits from Google than a year ago (+119%), and September 2026 was a weaker month than August 2026 (-27%). Gemini CLI made most of the move in September 2026: it lost 1,688,311 of the market's 1,863,717 visits; without it, visits to the other sites fell 5.3% on August 2026.

Judge this line on the year, not the last dot: visits are 119% above a year ago, and 33% below the July 2026 high. One site winning or losing a ranking can swing a single month a lot.

3How many people went looking

People typed a site’s name into Google 142% more often than in October 2025 (+142%). That is the loyalty number: nobody types a name by accident.

Name searches are the number I trust most. They are up 142%, and nobody types a site’s name by accident, so this shows more people coming back on purpose.

4Where the visitors live

About 12 of every 100 visits come from the United States. Outside the US I measure 7 countries one by one; the largest is India.

Miles explains

The US is the biggest single market, but only about 12 in every 100 visits. India alone is 79.9% of the countries measured outside it.

5The most-visited sites

Gemini CLI gets the most visits, OpenCode is the name people search for most, and OpenCode is the highest-placed tracked site on Google for “ai agents for coding”, at position 2. The five most-visited sites take 85.5% of all visits.

6Who grew and who shrank

The fastest grower in a year was Kiro (+620%); the steepest fall was at Qodo (-85%). Big swings are usually one site winning or losing one Google ranking.
