I tested the TeleportHQ AI website builder on its free plan, which is a 7-day trial with no card: the cafe brief from my three standard briefs, twelve edits, speed and SEO checks, and every wall I reached. The free plan gave me no live app that anyone can open, because the trial puts a password page in front of the published site; going past it needs Pro from $14 a month, billed yearly.
I took off half a point: the live site needs a password, only 1 of 3 briefs could be built and the home headline cannot be read.

What Is TeleportHQ?
TeleportHQ is a code download. You describe your business in a box, the AI builds a site, and you edit it in a visual editor or by writing to an AI assistant.
I tested the free plan, which is a 7-day trial with 30,000 AI tokens, one project and no card. It publishes a site at a web address, puts a password page in front of it, and removes the site when the 7 days end. A paid plan is needed to download the code.

How I Tested TeleportHQ
Every number here comes from my own tests on the free plan. TeleportHQ never saw the review first. The plan allows one project, so I built the cafe brief and tested that site on its live address, through its password page.
TeleportHQ is free trial, then $14 a month on yearly billing for Pro, or $20.99 billed monthly. Prices read on 28 October 2026.

Building a Site with TeleportHQ's AI
TeleportHQ's AI built the about four minutes. I pasted the cafe brief into one box, accepted the design, colours and fonts it picked for me, and watched a build screen.
The cafe brief in the first screen.
The AI planned five pages and built two: the home page and a Terms page. Menu Item Details and Catering waited under 'Planned, not built', and each took one click and about 2,500 tokens. Menu, About and Contact were never planned, so the site's menu links to pages that did not exist.
The home page is accurate: 19 of 20 were on the live pages, and the AI added no customer quotes, awards or staff. The one missing fact is the page list. The Menu link opens a page about a single drink, and there is no Contact page or form.
The first build used about 6,500 of the 30,000 tokens you get. The plan allows one project, so I could not build my photographer and shop briefs.
TeleportHQ Design on Phones and Desktops
The cafe's pages look an unreadable headline. The big title is cream text on a cream background, so the top of the home page is a blank space on desktop and on a phone.
The home page on desktop. The home page on a phone. The About page the AI made later.
My checker counted 12 faults on 5 pages: pale text on every page, small tap targets on every page, and sideways scrolling at phone width on two pages. No picture was broken or missing its alt text.

Editing Your TeleportHQ Site
TeleportHQ's AI assistant did 8 of 12. You write what you want in a chat, it asks you to confirm, and the change shows in the editor and, after you publish, on the live site.
Done: a section moved, the site font changed to Montserrat, an About page added with a menu link, a footer line, a button link, an image replaced, a phone-only change and a shorter text for one section. Most took about a minute and under 1,300 tokens, and the About page took 3 minutes and 4,300 tokens.
The embed edit: the assistant could not keep my code exactly.
Not done: the colours (the yellow changed, the navy did not), a duplicated section (the AI said it failed, and the page held three copies), embedded HTML, and a new form field, because the cafe has no form. I finished with 963 of 30,000 tokens left.

TeleportHQ Page Speed
TeleportHQ's cafe pages are average on phones. Google's speed test gave a median of 72 out of 100 across 6 phone runs, and 91 on desktop.

Catering page73
Home page72
Google's Lighthouse, phone settings, on the live cafe site.
The home page is lighter (2.1 MB) than the Catering page (4.8 MB). On a phone you wait 7.6 seconds for the main picture on the home page and 11 seconds on the Catering page. Nothing jumps around while you wait.
I tested two pages of one site, through the password page, so a public site may differ.
TeleportHQ SEO: Will Google Find Your Site?
TeleportHQ's live pages carry most SEO basics: 10 of my 12 points. Every page has a title, a description, one main heading, a canonical tag, structured data and social-card tags.

TeleportHQ Domain, Forms and Shop
TeleportHQ's trial lets you one custom domain and little else of the business side. The Publish panel shows 'Custom domain, TRIAL, 0 of 1 slots used'. I did not connect one, because the site is removed when the 7 days end.
The pop-up when I tried to start a second project.
The cafe has no contact form, because the Contact page was never built, so I could not test a form message, tax or a mailbox. The plan allows one project, so you cannot test a shop with it either.
Can You Take Your TeleportHQ Site With You?
TeleportHQ shows no code download. The Download tab says 'Code downloads aren't included in your plan.' A paid plan adds React, Next.js, Vue, Nuxt, Angular and HTML.
The wall in front of the code download.
The Code tab lets you view the code 10 times. When the trial ends, the site goes offline and the project is archived. I could not test a cancel, because there is no paid plan to cancel, or whether the downloaded code runs on another host.
TeleportHQ Backups and Security
TeleportHQ's live site sends four headers I check and forces https. It lacks Content-Security-Policy and X-Frame-Options. The certificate is valid until 25 January 2027.
The Backups button is greyed on the trial, and its tooltip says project backups are not included in the trial. The pricing page lists automatic backups for the free column, so the two disagree.
Your visitors would see no cookie banner, and I found no tracking script in the page source. I did not find a two-factor setting. Accessibility is covered in the design section: contrast problems on every page.
TeleportHQ Help and Support
TeleportHQ gave no reply yet. I emailed my questions on 28 October 2026 to hello@teleporthq.io, the only address on the site, and had no answer when I wrote this.
The help centre answered all three standard questions with an article each: connecting my own domain, a form that does not collect messages, and switching to yearly billing or fixing a card. It also explains why the trial adds the password page, so you are told. The editor has a chat widget, which I did not use.
TeleportHQ Reviews: What Other Users Say
Trustpilot says 2.6 from 7 reviews, read on 28 October 2026. The profile is unclaimed, and 3 reviews give five stars and 4 give one.
TeleportHQ on Trustpilot, 28 October 2026.
The five-star reviews praise easy building and helpful chat support. The one-star reviews mention slow support, a code download that did not run elsewhere, and tokens that run out fast. Seven reviews are too few to rely on, and I did not count G2 or Capterra.
Final verdict: is the TeleportHQ website builder worth it?

Hey, I'm Miles, and this is RankDude, where I test AI tools hands on and publish every number, so you can decide before you pay. Today it's TeleportHQ, an AI website builder. I used its free plan, which is a seven day trial with no card, and gave it my cafe brief, the same one every builder gets. The short version is that it built the home page in about four minutes and let me change it by sentence. But it built only two of the five pages I asked for, and the trial hides the live site behind a password. My rating is three point zero out of five, from four graded tests.
So, what is TeleportHQ? You describe your business in a box, the AI builds a site, and you edit it in a visual editor or by writing to an AI assistant. The trial gives you one project and thirty thousand AI tokens, once. A paid plan is needed to download the code.
I pasted the whole cafe brief into one box, then accepted the design, colours and fonts the AI picked. The home page was ready in about four minutes. The AI planned five pages and built two. Menu, About and Contact were never planned, so the menu links to pages that did not exist. Creating the other planned pages costs tokens. The first build used about sixty five hundred.
The home page is accurate. Nineteen of my twenty facts were on the live pages, and the AI added no customer quotes, awards or staff. The one missing fact is the page list. There is no Contact page and no form, and the menu link opens a page about one drink. The plan allows one project, so the photographer and the shop were never built.
Then I published. It took about thirty seconds, but the address is a password page, and the plan switches it on by itself. The Publish panel has no switch to turn it off. When the seven days end, the site is removed.
Design has one big problem. The home headline is cream text on a cream background, so you see a blank space at the top of the page, on desktop and on a phone. My checker counted twelve faults on five pages, mostly pale text and tiny buttons. With only one site, design is not graded.
Editing mostly works. The AI assistant did eight of my twelve edits, each in about a minute. That included a new About page with its menu link. The colours, a duplicated section and embedded H T M L did not work, and the cafe has no form for the fourth. That scores three.
Page speed is average. Google's test gave a median of seventy two on phones across six runs, and ninety one on desktop. The main picture took seven to eleven seconds to show on a phone. That scores three. Search basics are mostly there. Ten of my twelve points were on the live pages. That scores four.
Most business features are out of reach. The wall in front of the code download says, Code downloads aren't included in your plan. Backups are not included in the trial either, and a second project is blocked. So I could not test forms, a shop, support replies or export.
Pricing. Pro costs fourteen dollars a month on yearly billing, which is about one hundred and sixty eight dollars a year, with a domain and no badge. Billed monthly it is about two hundred and fifty two. I did not reach a checkout, so I could not see a renewal price. That scores four.
So, my verdict. TeleportHQ built the first page fast, but only two of the five pages, and the live site sits behind a password. I would not recommend it on the trial alone. It suits you if you will pay for Pro and want to edit by sentence. The four graded tests average three point five, and I rate TeleportHQ three point zero out of five.

Frequently asked questions
How much does TeleportHQ cost, and is it free?
Free trial. The trial costs $0 and needs no card. Pro is $14 a month on yearly billing or $20.99 billed monthly, and Premium is $28 or $39.99. I could not read a renewal price without a checkout.
Is TeleportHQ legit?
Mostly yes. It built what I asked and asked for no card. Its Trustpilot score is 2.6 from only 7 reviews and the profile is unclaimed. I paid nothing, so I could not test billing or a refund.
Can I export my TeleportHQ site or move it?
Paid plans. The trial shows 'Code downloads aren't included in your plan.' Pro and Premium list HTML, React, Next.js, Vue, Nuxt and Angular, which I could not try.
How do I cancel TeleportHQ, and what happens to my backups?
Not tested. The trial ends by itself on 4 November 2026 and removes the site. The editor says 'Project backups aren't included in the trial', and the pricing page lists automatic backups, so I could not test a restore.
Is TeleportHQ easy for a beginner, and what about cookies and accessibility?
Yes to start. You paste a description and get a page, and a sentence changes it. My live pages showed no cookie banner and no tracking script, and every page had pale text that fails a contrast check.
Can I sell things on TeleportHQ?
Not tested. The New Project screen offers an E-commerce type, but the plan allows one project and I used it on the cafe. The pricing page lists a store builder and Stripe payments as paid features.
Disclosure. I tested on the free demo account anyone can open on TeleportHQ’s site. I signed up myself and paid TeleportHQ nothing. TeleportHQ didn’t see this review first and had no say in my rating. How RankDude makes money is on the disclosure page.
