I tested the Relume AI website builder hands-on on its free plan, with no card: the cafe brief, 19 facts checked, a site published to a free address, speed and accessibility tests, and every wall I reached. The free plan published a live site, but its AI usage ran out after five pages.
It runs on Relume's servers, whatever the address. See the proof

What Is Relume?
Relume is an AI website builder that turns one written brief into a sitemap, wireframes, a style guide and a designed site. An AI agent in a chat panel does the work, and then you can publish the site to Relume's own hosting.
It also exports to Figma, Webflow and React, which you pay for. I tested the free plan. Free publishes a site to a relumesite.ai address with a Relume badge and gives enough AI usage for about one small site a month.
Relume's own home page.
How I Tested Relume
Every number here comes from my own tests. Relume never saw the review first, and every website builder gets the same briefs. I pasted the cafe brief into Relume, published the site on its free address and ran my tools on it.
You can publish free, then Launch hosting is $12 a month billed yearly, or $16 billed monthly. Prices read on 29 October 2026.

Building a Site with Relume's AI
Relume built the first page in 3 min 26 s and the whole five-page site in about 22 minutes. You paste your brief into one box. I pasted the cafe brief, and the agent wrote the brief, the sitemap, the wireframe and the design of the Home page on its own.
The AI building the Home page.
The other four pages were created empty. I asked for the Menu, the Catering, and the About and Contact pages, and each took one to two minutes. Then I pressed Publish, and the site was live at a free address that you can share at once.
All 19 facts were right and nothing was made up. The Catering page says a price depends on your numbers, instead of inventing one. The photographs are AI-made, and the agent said so.

Relume Design on Phones and Desktops
Relume's cafe site looks polished on phones and desktops, so you would not guess an AI made it. My checker still counted 7 faults on 5 pages.
The Home page on a phone. The Menu page on a phone. The Contact page on a phone.
The faults are small tap targets on two pages and overlapping text on all five, mostly the corner badge. The menu bar still shows a grey 'Logo' instead of the cafe name, although Relume's own health check says no placeholder is left. Nothing scrolled sideways.
For accessibility, axe-core found one critical problem on every page at phone width and a serious link problem on every page. If you use a keyboard, you can reach 11 to 17 items per page.

Editing Your Relume Site
Relume made a site-wide change in one click. The Style Guide holds two themes, and clicking the second changed fonts and colours on every page at once, so you can try a new look in seconds.
The second theme applied to every page.
I could not finish the twelve edits. After the About and Contact pages, the chat said 'You've reached your AI usage' and the top bar said 'You've reached this month's AI limit', with a reset in 4 days. I did not try the editor by hand, so only 2 of 12 edits were done and editing is not graded.

Relume Page Speed
Relume's pages are fast enough on phones. Google's speed test gave a median of 79 out of 100 across 9 phone runs, and 97 on desktop.

Relume Uptime Test: 30 Days on My Test Site
I'm watching my Relume test site for 30 days, from 29 October to 28 November 2026.
My own monitor opens the site every five minutes and records whether it answered and how fast. Relume hosts the site, so a Relume outage would show here.
Is it really Relume serving this site?
Yes. The address belongs to Relume's own hosting domain, every answer carries Relume's headers, and every page shows a 'Built in Relume' badge. RankDude itself runs elsewhere (Vercel).
Relume gets most basics onto each page. Every page has its own title and description, one H1, a canonical tag and Open Graph tags, and you can edit them.

There is an Indexing switch in Discoverability, and you can turn it off. With it off, every page says noindex and robots.txt blocks all crawlers, including AI ones. SEO is not graded, because my own switch changed the files.
Relume Domain, Blog and Shop
Relume's form failed for me. I pressed 'Send message' and it answered 'Something went wrong while sending your message. Please try again.'
The form after pressing Send message.
A Cloudflare 'Verify you are human' box showed, and I did not tick it, because a test may not pass a human check. A custom domain and no badge are Launch hosting only, so you pay for them. I did not try selling, bookings or a blog, so this section is not graded.
Can You Take Your Relume Site With You?
Relume paid exports. In the Export product, pressing HTML opened 'Upgrade required: Export your project', and the free project showed only its Home page, with the others blurred as 'Upgrade to view pages'.
The wall after pressing HTML in Export.
For the Publish site, I found no download of the code or pages. Settings has 'Unpublish Site' to take the site down, and a panel says an AI tool can rebuild the project in Webflow. Ownership is not graded.
Relume Backups and Security
Relume's live site sends five headers of the six I check and forces https, so you get a padlock. It lacks Permissions-Policy. The certificate is valid until 29 November 2026.
I could not test backups or restoring an earlier version, and I did not look for two-factor sign-in. Settings has a 'Show cookie banner' switch (Reject, Manage, Accept) that gates analytics, and my published site showed no banner.
My accessibility results are in the design section. The site health panel and Lighthouse said 93 for accessibility, and my axe-core run found a critical problem on phones.
Relume Help and Support
Relume's support page has no email address. It offers you a 'Submit Request' button that says 'We typically reply in 24 hours or less', a resources page and a community.
The Relume support page.
I did not send my three standard questions, because I will not guess an address and the chat and form were not used. Support is not graded.
Final verdict: is the Relume website builder worth it?

Hey, I'm Miles, and this is RankDude, where I test AI tools hands on and publish every number, so you can decide before you pay. Today it's Relume, an AI website builder. I used its free plan, with no card, and gave it the standard cafe brief. The short version is that it builds a fast, accurate site from a brief, with all nineteen facts right and nothing made up. But four of its five pages needed a request from me, the pages have seven design faults, and the contact form would not send. My rating is three point eight out of five, from five graded tests.
So, what is Relume? You paste a description, and an AI agent writes the brief, the sitemap, the wireframes and the design. Then one button publishes the site to Relume's own hosting. It can also export to Figma, Webflow and React, but that part costs money.
I pasted the cafe brief word for word into one box. The first page was finished after three minutes and twenty six seconds. The agent left the other four pages empty, so I asked for them in three more messages. After I pressed publish, the site was live about twenty two minutes after the brief. That scores three. The free plan allows one small site a month, so I only built the cafe.
Did it stick to my facts? Yes. All nineteen facts were right, and nothing was made up. The brief told it not to add reviews, awards or staff, and it added none. Where it had no answer, like a price for catering, it said so instead of inventing one. The photos are AI made, and it told me so. That scores five out of five.
Design. The site looks polished on phones and desktops. My checker still counted seven faults on five pages, mostly a corner badge over the text and small buttons. A grey placeholder logo stays in the menu bar, although Relume's own check says nothing is left over. That scores three.
Editing. One click on a second theme restyled every page at once. But after the five pages, the chat said I had reached this month's AI limit. So I could only do two of my twelve edits, and I could not grade editing.
Speed. On phones, Google's speed test gave a median of seventy nine out of one hundred, and ninety seven on desktop. The main picture took about four and a half seconds to show. That scores four. The site is live, so my monitor opens it every five minutes for thirty days.
Now, what the free plan blocked. The contact form did not send. It said something went wrong, and a Cloudflare box asked me to verify I am human. I did not tick it, because a test may not pass a human check. Exports need a paid plan. Pressing the HTML export opened a box that said upgrade required. And Relume shows no support email, so I did not send my questions.
Pricing. Publishing is free, with a Relume badge and fifteen hundred page views a month. Launch hosting adds your own domain and removes the badge. It is twelve dollars a month billed yearly, which is one hundred and forty four dollars, or sixteen dollars billed monthly. The page does not show a renewal price. That scores four.
So, my verdict. Relume did the main job: a five page cafe site, every fact right, live in about twenty two minutes. I would recommend it for a quick first site. It suits you if you want accurate copy and will add your own logo. The five graded tests average three point eight, and I rate Relume three point eight out of five. Every measurement is on the test results page at rankdude dot A I.

Frequently asked questions
How much does Relume cost, and is it free?
Free to publish. Free hosting costs $0 and has a Relume badge and 1,500 page views a month. Launch hosting is $12 a month billed yearly or $16 billed monthly, and the Pro AI plan is $14 or $24. The renewal price is not shown.
Is Relume legit?
Yes, mostly. It built the site I asked for, kept to my facts and published to a working address that you can open with no card. I paid nothing, so I could not test billing or a refund.
Can I export my Relume site or move it?
Paid plans only. In the Export product, pressing HTML opened 'Upgrade required'. I found no download of the published site's code.
How do I cancel Relume, and can I get a refund?
Not tested. The free plan has no cancel step. Settings has 'Unpublish Site', which makes the address stop working. I did not try a paid plan, a cancel or a refund.
Is Relume easy for a beginner?
Yes, to start. You paste a description and the AI builds the pages, but you may hit the free AI limit after five pages. The editor, themes and publish steps are plain for you to follow.
Can I sell things on Relume?
No shop found. My brief had none, and I saw no checkout in Relume Publish. The pricing page pop-up mentions a blog or portfolio collection, which I did not use.
Disclosure. I tested on the free demo account anyone can open on Relume’s site. I signed up myself and paid Relume nothing. Relume didn’t see this review first and had no say in my rating. How RankDude makes money is on the disclosure page.
