I tested the Landingsite.ai AI website builder on its free plan, with no card: three sites from my three standard briefs, 60 facts checked, ten edits, speed and accessibility tests, and every paywall I reached. The free plan gave me no live app, only a preview of each site, because publishing needs a paid plan from $10 a month, billed yearly.

What Is Landingsite.ai?
Landingsite.ai builds a whole website from two answers. You type your business name and a short description, and its AI writes the pages, chooses the design, makes a logo and shows you a preview.
I tested the free plan. It needs no card and allows three websites, each with 10 chat messages. It cannot publish a site, so everything I tested ran on the preview address.
Landingsite.ai's own home page: two questions and a Create my website button.
After the first draft you change the site by chatting to the AI. A small editor in the preview changes wording directly. Landingsite is run by Landingsite, LLC.
How I Tested Landingsite.ai
Every number here comes from my own tests. Landingsite never saw the review first, and every website builder gets the same three briefs. I typed each brief into the two boxes and ran my tools on the preview address, because the free plan cannot publish.
Landingsite is free to try, then $10 or $20 a month, billed yearly, for each website. Prices read on 28 October 2026.

Building a Site with Landingsite.ai's AI
Landingsite asks two questions: a business name and a description. I pasted each brief into the description box. Nothing else was asked, apart from an optional question, 'where did you hear about us?', while the site builds.
The first look arrives in about 20 seconds, and then the AI keeps working. All the pages were ready in about 4 minutes for the photographer, 10 for the shop and 27 for the cafe. The cafe was slow because the AI spent about ten minutes chasing 'blank photo boxes' that were not blank: the photos load as you scroll, and its own screenshots had been taken too early.
The building screen, with an optional question while you wait.
A site starts as a home page. One more message, asking it to build the other pages, gave me every page in my briefs and cost one or two of the 10 free chats.
All 60 facts were on the pages, with the right prices, hours, addresses and phone numbers. The AI also added 15 claims I never gave, such as 'Most booked' on a wedding package, 'Dates book out months ahead' and 'Each piece is wrapped by hand in the studio'. There were no invented reviews or awards, and every photo is a stock photo.

Landingsite.ai Design on Phones and Desktops
The drafts look polished but sloppy. A designer could have made them, with big type, warm colours and a logo, and my checker still counted 31 faults on 16 pages.
The cafe on a phone. The photographer on a phone. The shop on a phone.
The faults repeat on every page: footer links under 24 pixels and pale labels that fail the contrast rule. The photographer's menu also runs 13 pixels past the screen at tablet width, so each of its pages scrolls sideways there. The shop's three product photos are the words 'Studio photo coming soon'.
My accessibility scan found no critical problem, but nine pages have serious contrast problems. Every image has alt text. The Spanish pages keep the page language set to English.
The three sites do not look like one template. Only the hero layout matches. You cannot switch template either, because there is no template picker.

Editing Your Landingsite.ai Site
Chat does everything. You type what you want, the AI changes the code and the preview updates. There is no drag-and-drop editor, but a small text editor in the preview changes wording for free.
On the cafe, 10 of my 12 edits worked. I moved a section, changed the font and colours everywhere, added a page with a menu link, added a form field, changed a button link, duplicated a section, embedded HTML, rewrote a section and edited the footer. A phone-only change and a replaced hero image worked on my other two sites.
The cafe after the font and colour edits.
Each message took one to six minutes and cost one or two of the 10 free chats. After 11 messages the cafe stopped.
What you see when the free chats run out.
Four of five written instructions worked first time. The gallery and slider worked, and the YouTube video I asked for did not appear. You cannot place things freely, and you cannot start from a blank page.

The shop page was slowest. Its main picture took 7.1 seconds to show on a phone, because the page loads a lot of photos.
Photos use the modern AVIF format and nothing blocks the first paint. The heaviest single file is a 640 KB font. I measured the free preview address and not a published site, so a live site may differ.
Landingsite.ai SEO: Will Google Find Your Site?

Two things I could not see before publishing are the sitemap and robots.txt, and a per-page noindex came only when I asked the chat. The AI's own titles were right for two of three pages. Its descriptions often ran past 155 characters.
The Spanish version adds hreflang tags for both languages. The builder has no SEO checklist of its own.
Landingsite.ai Domain, Blog and Shop
Most business features are paid. The free plan blocked a custom domain, a shop that takes payments, a mailbox and the monthly report. The Domain screen says 'Domains are available on paid plans.'
The Domain screen on the free plan.
The shop panel says 'Your store can't take payments yet.' Selling needs Pro, at $20 a month billed yearly. The AI also told me that discount codes need your own Stripe account and that it cannot send abandoned-cart emails.
The shop's paywall.
What worked: a contact form with spam protection and a submissions list, a blog with a category and tags, a full Spanish version with a language switcher, and a logo made for each site. The logo cannot be downloaded without a paid plan or a $5 purchase.
A members-only page is a soft gate. The password sits in the page, so anyone who reads the code can see it. The blog's RSS address returns a web page and not a feed.
Can You Take Your Landingsite.ai Site With You?
No export found. The free plan has no way to download the site's code, pages or images, and the Ownership screen in each site's settings is blank.
The terms say fees are non-refundable except as the agreement allows, content may be deleted without notice and Landingsite does not have to keep a backup. The pricing page promises a 30-day money-back guarantee. The help page says a cancelled site stays up until the period ends.
I could not test cancelling. Manage Billing opens a Stripe page that says 'No payment method' and has no cancel button.
Landingsite.ai Backups and Security
Restoring worked, in about ten seconds. Every AI message and text edit is saved as a version, with Preview and Rollback buttons.
Every change is a version you can roll back to.
After my rollback the version's own preview showed the old page. The main preview address still showed the newer page 50 minutes later.
The preview sends none of the six security headers I check and does not redirect http to https. Its certificate is valid. Your account has a password and a device list, and no two-factor sign-in.
A clean visit set no cookies before consent. The AI wrote a cookie banner that shows only where the law needs one, and a privacy page.
Landingsite.ai Help and Support
No reply yet. I emailed seven questions on 28 October 2026 and had no answer when I wrote this. Landingsite says it usually replies within 24 hours.
Landingsite's help page: one FAQ and no search box.
The help centre is one FAQ page. It answered four of my five searches and had nothing on exporting a site.
The AI chat is the first line of support. When I asked for things it cannot do, such as a discount code without Stripe, it said so.
Landingsite.ai Reviews: What Other Users Say
Trustpilot says 4.4 from 25 reviews, read on 28 October 2026. 80% give five stars and 16% give one star. The profile is for the company, Landingsite.
Landingsite on Trustpilot, 28 October 2026.
Praise is for speed and ease: 'Pretty easy to use for the novice who needs a professional looking website in a hurry for great price' (2 September 2026). The four one-star reviews are about billing and about edits that break the page: 'when it comes to fixing errors and changing things so that they do what I want, the page completely breaks down' (25 May 2026).
I found no Landingsite page on G2, and Capterra blocked my visit, so neither is counted. I read the ten most recent Trustpilot reviews and all four one-star reviews.

Hey, I'm Miles, and this is RankDude, where I test AI tools hands on and publish every number, so you can decide before you pay. Today it's Landingsite dot A I, an AI website builder. I used its free plan, with no card, and gave it the same three briefs every builder gets: a cafe, a wedding photographer and a pottery shop. The short version is that it drafts a good-looking site fast, and all sixty of my facts were right. But it added fifteen claims I never gave, the pages fail my design check, and the free plan cannot publish, so everything I tested ran on a preview address. My rating is three point zero out of five, from five graded tests.
So, what is Landingsite? You type your business name and a short description. That's the only two questions. The AI writes the pages, picks the design, makes a logo and shows you a preview. Then you change things by chatting to it. The free plan allows three websites, each with ten chat messages, and it can't publish.
Every builder gets the same briefs, word for word. Landingsite showed a first look in about twenty seconds, then kept working. The photographer's pages were ready in about four minutes, the shop's in ten, and the cafe's in twenty seven. The cafe was slow because the AI spent ten minutes chasing photo boxes that weren't really blank. The photos load as you scroll, and its own screenshots were taken too early. I can't score build speed, because the scale ends at a published site, and the free plan can't publish.
Did it stick to my facts? Yes. All sixty facts were on the pages, with the right prices, hours and addresses. But the AI added fifteen claims I never gave. A Most booked label on a wedding package. Dates book out months ahead. Each piece is wrapped by hand. None are reviews or awards, but they're not mine. That scores three.
Design. The drafts look polished, but my checker counted thirty one faults on sixteen pages. Mostly footer links that are too small to tap, and pale labels. The photographer's menu runs thirteen pixels past the screen at tablet width, so each of its pages scrolls sideways. That scores one.
Editing is all chat. On the cafe, ten of my twelve edits worked, including a new font, new colours, and a Gift Cards page with a menu link. Each message cost one or two of the ten free chats, and after eleven messages the cafe stopped. Chat Limit Reached, it says. The other two edits worked on my other sites. That scores four.
Speed. Google's test gave a median of eighty nine on phones across eighteen runs, and ninety nine on desktop. That's the preview address, not a published site. It scores four.
Most business features are behind the paywall. The domain screen says domains are available on paid plans. The store says it can't take payments yet. Selling needs Pro. I found no way to export the site, and I couldn't test cancelling, so those tests are not graded. But every change is saved as a version, and restoring one took about ten seconds.
Pricing. Landingsite is free to try, then ten or twenty dollars a month, billed yearly, for each website. Basic is one page. My briefs need several pages, so I'd need Pro, at two hundred and forty dollars a year. That scores three.
So, my verdict. If this were my business, I'd try the free plan to see a draft, then decide, because it builds a good-looking, multi page site from two answers, with every fact right. It suits you if you want a fast first draft and are happy to edit by chat. It suits you less if you need to export your site or make many changes. I rate Landingsite three point zero out of five. Every measurement is in the Landingsite test results, linked below.

Frequently asked questions
How much does Landingsite cost, and is it free?
Free to try. The free plan costs $0 and builds three previews with 10 chats each, but it cannot publish. Basic is $10 a month billed yearly for one page, and Pro is $20 a month billed yearly for many pages and a shop. Each plan covers one website, and the terms say the plan renews at the price then current.
Is Landingsite legit?
Mostly yes. It built what I asked and asked for no card. Its Trustpilot score is 4.4 from 25 reviews. The four one-star reviews are about billing and edits that break a page. I paid nothing, so I could not test billing.
Can I export my Landingsite site or move it?
No export found. The free plan has no download of the code, pages or images, and the Ownership screen is blank. The help page says you can move a domain away, and that your site data stays in your account if you cancel.
How do I cancel Landingsite, and can I get a refund?
In Settings, according to the pricing page. A 30-day money-back guarantee covers paid plans, and a cancelled site stays up until the period ends. I could not test it, because the free plan has nothing to cancel.
Is Landingsite easy for a beginner?
Yes, to start. You answer two questions and get a draft in about 20 seconds. Changes cost chat messages, and a free site stops after 10 of them. It checks nothing for you, so read every claim it writes.
Can I sell things on Landingsite?
Only on Pro. The free plan shows 'Your store can't take payments yet.' Pro adds a store, invoices and memberships, with a 1% fee on top of Stripe's, and discount codes need your own Stripe account.
Disclosure. I tested on the free demo account anyone can open on Landingsite.ai’s site. I signed up myself and paid Landingsite.ai nothing. Landingsite.ai didn’t see this review first and had no say in my rating. How RankDude makes money is on the disclosure page.
