Market demand
1Is the AI scheduling assistant market growing in 2026?
Shrinking.
Over two years, visits went from 4.6M in October 2024 to a high of 5.8M in June 2026, and stand at 5.4M in September 2026. Much of the year’s change is one site, SavvyCal, which is why I also look at the market without it.

Miles explains
I only call a market growing when visits and name searches agree. Here visits are down and name searches are down, so they agree.
Search trends
2How many people search for AI scheduling assistants in 2026?
“ai scheduling assistant” is searched about 1,600 times a month worldwide, 63% of it in the US.
Google Trends barely registered “ai scheduling assistant” until June 2025; interest then climbed to its peak in May 2026. Americans make 63% of the searches but only 35.4% of the visits, because the big sites also draw heavily from India, Canada and United Kingdom.

Google Trends shows direction, not volume. Interest is lower than a year ago, and I only trust that when the visits move the same way.
Monthly analysis
3What changed in the AI scheduling assistant market in September 2026?
More visits than a year ago only because of SavvyCal, but fewer people searching by name, and the next six months look flat after a step up.
The fastest growers over the year, Morgen, SavvyCal and Setmore, grew fastest, mostly from a smaller base. The losers, led by Clara, lost most of their search visits (-70%).

Huge percentages like Morgen’s +428% usually mean one site won a big Google ranking from a small start. I watch whether it holds the next month.

4What happens next for AI scheduling assistants?
I expect October 2026 to be 4% more than September 2026, and the next six months to look up.
The forecast carries the level of recent months forward, not the trend line, because that version missed least when tested on past months.

Setmore alone has 31% of all visits. That’s a big lead, but one Google update can close it fast.
