Miles FosterOwner and tester, RankDude
Every month I measure 24 AI travel planner sites with data from DataForSEO, Google Trends, Tranco and Ahrefs. They are the sites that rank on Google for "ai travel planner" plus the most-visited AI travel planner sites overall. In October 2026 they got about 256 million visits from Google, 25% fewer than a year ago.
Below: one short section per statistics page, starting with whether the market is growing. The tools I test are on the AI travel planners page.

Market demand
1Is the AI travel planner market growing in 2026?
Growing, but visits are down 25% since December 2025.
Over two years, visits went from 199M in November 2024 to a high of 513M in January 2025, and stand at 256M in October 2026. Much of the year’s change is one site, Booking.com, which is why I also look at the market without it.

Miles explains
I only call a market growing when visits and name searches agree. Here visits are up and name searches are up, so they agree.
Search trends
2How many people search for AI travel planners in 2026?
“ai travel planner” is searched about 8,100 times a month worldwide, 30% of it in the US.
Google Trends barely registered “ai travel planner” until March 2023; interest then climbed to its peak in May 2026. Americans make 30% of the searches but only 7.2% of the visits, because the big sites also draw heavily from India, Germany and United Kingdom.

Google Trends shows direction, not volume. Interest is lower than a year ago, and I only trust that when the visits move the same way.
Monthly analysis
3What changed in the AI travel planner market in October 2026?
Fewer visits than a year ago only because of Booking.com, but more people searching by name, and the next six months look flat.
The fastest growers over the year, iMean AI, Alike and Stippl, grew fastest, mostly from a smaller base. The losers, led by TripPlanner AI, lost most of their search visits (-86%).

Huge percentages like iMean AI’s +2352% usually mean one site won a big Google ranking from a small start. I watch whether it holds the next month.
Monthly forecast
4What happens next for AI travel planners?
I expect November 2026 to be about the same as October 2026, and the next six months to look flat.
The forecast carries the level of recent months forward, not the trend line, because that version missed least when tested on past months. November is usually a quieter month than average for searches, but the calendar did not improve the forecast, so it is left out.

Download the data
6Can I download the AI travel planner data?
Yes. Every number on these pages comes from two CSV files, free to download.
sites.csv has one row per site: its Google US position for “ai travel planner”, Tranco rank, Chrome UX tier, visits from Google worldwide and in the US, name searches, Domain Rating and referring domains, with the month each figure covers. market.csv has the monthly totals across the tracked sites: visits worldwide and in the US, name searches and referring domains. Blanks mean the source had no figure, never zero.
