Market demand

2Is the AI tools for lawyers market growing in 2026?

Shrinking, but visits without CoCounsel are up 9.5% on a year ago.

Over two years, visits went from 4.6M in November 2024 to a high of 9.4M in December 2024, fell to 5.6M in July 2026, and recovered to 6.0M in October 2026. Much of the year’s change is one site, CoCounsel, which is why I also look at the market without it.

I only call a market growing when visits and name searches agree. Here visits are up and name searches are down, so they don’t agree yet.

Monthly analysis

4What changed in the AI tools for lawyers market in October 2026?

Fewer visits than a year ago only because of CoCounsel, fewer people searching by name, and the next six months look flat.

The fastest growers over the year, Sirion, Icertis and DoNotPay, grew fastest, mostly from a smaller base. The losers, led by StrongSuit, lost most of their search visits (-100%).

Huge percentages like Sirion’s +696% usually mean one site won a big Google ranking from a small start. I watch whether it holds the next month.
