Market demand
1Is the AI contract review tool market growing in 2026?
Shrinking, but visits are up 6.8% over the last six months.
Over two years, visits went from 1.7M in November 2024 to a high of 4.2M in December 2024, fell to 2.3M in December 2025, and recovered to 3.1M in October 2026. Much of the year’s change is one site, Docusign, which is why I also look at the market without it.

Miles explains
I only call a market growing when visits and name searches agree. Here visits are down and name searches are down, so they agree.
Search trends
2How many people search for AI contract review tools in 2026?
“ai contract review” is searched about 1,600 times a month worldwide, 55% of it in the US.
Google Trends barely registered “ai contract review” until August 2025; interest then climbed to its peak in May 2026. Americans make 55% of the searches but only 32.9% of the visits, because the big sites also draw heavily from United Kingdom, Brazil and India.

Google Trends shows direction, not volume. Interest is lower than a year ago, and I only trust that when the visits move the same way.
Monthly analysis
3What changed in the AI contract review tool market in October 2026?
More visits than a year ago only because of Docusign, but fewer people searching by name, and the next six months look flat.
The fastest growers over the year, Sirion, Docusign and DocJuris, grew fastest, mostly from a smaller base. The losers, led by SpotDraft, lost most of their search visits (-69%).

- Biggest gain this month
- LegalOn +20%
- Biggest loss this month
- DocJuris -13%
Miles explains
Huge percentages like Sirion’s +696% usually mean one site won a big Google ranking from a small start. I watch whether it holds the next month.
Monthly forecast
4What happens next for AI contract review tools?
I expect November 2026 to be about the same as October 2026, and the next six months to look flat.
The forecast carries the level of recent months forward, not the trend line, because that version missed least when tested on past months.

6Can I download the AI contract review tool data?
Yes. Every number on these pages comes from two CSV files, free to download.
sites.csv has one row per site: its Google US position for “ai contract review”, Tranco rank, Chrome UX tier, visits from Google worldwide and in the US, name searches, Domain Rating and referring domains, with the month each figure covers. market.csv has the monthly totals across the tracked sites: visits worldwide and in the US, name searches and referring domains. Blanks mean the source had no figure, never zero.
