Price and limits tracker
Reads each AI agent's plan prices, monthly credits, daily free credits and free-plan limits as numbers, so a change in any one of them is dated and the review follows it.

What the price and limits tracker is
An AI agent is sold by credits as much as by price: how many a plan includes, how many the free plan gives a day, and how many tasks can run at once. A review that quotes those figures once goes stale the first time the vendor changes a page. This tracker reads them as numbers, keeps a history, and feeds the review text and charts, so the review says what the vendor charges today.
It is a cousin of the price tracker for website and app builders, which reads a pricing page with Claude. Agent pricing pages draw their prices as rolling digits and hide the limits in help articles, so this tracker reads them with a browser and fixed patterns instead, and writes its result into the price tracker's own files as well.
Runs on: A script on my PC with a real browser. Manus first; other agents are added as they are reviewed.
How it works
- It fetches the vendor's help articles on the free plan, credit rules and knowledge base as plain text and reads each limit with a fixed pattern: credits a day, tasks at once, scheduled automations, the monthly cap on daily credits, the model the free plan runs, knowledge-base entries and whether a failed task is refunded. A limit the page does not state is stored as unknown, never guessed.
- It opens the pricing page in a real browser set to US English and New York time, waits for the rolling price digits to settle and reads them once for monthly billing and once more after switching to yearly billing.
- For every plan it keeps the name, the monthly and yearly price, the credits a month, the daily refresh credits, and the concurrent and scheduled task limits.
- It compares the new numbers with the last reading. Only the numbers are compared, never the wording, so a reworded page is not a change. Each difference becomes one dated line in the change list.
- It writes the current reading, the change list and a daily history to the monitor's data file, and the plan table to the price tracker's files, so the agent appears on the price tracker like any other brand.
- The site reads the file at build time. Review sentences carry a token for each limit, so the text follows the tracker by itself, and the methodology's history charts draw the daily credits and plan credits over time.
What it records
- Current reading
- Every plan with its prices, credits and task limits; the free plan's limits; the list of values the vendor does not publish; and anything the review observed by hand, kept apart and never overwritten.
- Changes
- One dated line per changed number, with the old and new values.
- History
- One entry a day with each plan's price and credits and the free plan's limits, so a chart can show the trend.
- Health
- The time of the last read and whether it succeeded. The daily health check raises a problem when the last read failed or is older than a few days.
What it holds today
Read from the monitor’s data file when this page was built. Every reviewed agent is added when its review is made.

What it cannot catch
- It reads what the vendor publishes. A limit that only shows up in use, such as the size of a file upload on the free plan, is observed during the review and kept as a separate note.
- It cannot say in advance what a given task will cost in credits. That comes from the credits reader during the test.
- A pricing page that puts its prices in pictures or behind a login defeats the fixed patterns; the read then fails loudly rather than guessing.
- The script needs a real browser, so it runs on my PC by hand until the scheduled runs come back; the health check tells me when it is overdue.
