Over two years, visits went from 32M in October 2024 to a high of 52M in June 2026, and stand at 49M in September 2026. Much of the year’s change is one site, DeepAI, which is why I also look at the market without it.

Google Trends barely registered “ai image generator” until December 2022; interest then climbed to its peak in January 2024. Americans make 37% of the searches but only 12.5% of the visits, because the big sites also draw heavily from India, Indonesia and Philippines.

More visits than a year ago only because of DeepAI, but fewer people searching by name, and the next six months look flat.

The fastest growers over the year, Higgsfield, Mage and SeaArt, grew fastest, mostly from a smaller base. The losers, led by Playground, lost most of their search visits (-92%).
