I tested Relume, an AI website builder, first on its Free plan and then on Pro: 3 sites from my standard briefs, 57 facts and 12 edits. It got 56 of 57 facts right, put the 3 sites live in a median of 22 minutes, and did 11 of my 12 edits. The pages carry 17 design faults, it made up 5 small details, and no export gave me a file.

What Is Relume?
Relume is an AI website builder that turns one written brief into a sitemap, wireframes, a style guide and a designed site. An AI agent in a chat panel does the work, and then you can publish the site to Relume's own hosting.
It also exports to Figma, Webflow and React. I tested with a Pro plan, which gives more AI usage, and hosted all three sites on the free hosting: a relumesite.ai address with a Relume badge.
Relume's own home page.
How I Tested Relume
Every number here comes from my own tests. Relume never saw the review first, and every website builder gets the same three briefs. I pasted all three into Relume, published the sites on its free addresses and ran my tools on them. I tested the Free plan first, then a Pro plan.
You can publish free, then Launch hosting is $12 a month billed yearly, or $16 billed monthly. Prices read on 1 November 2026.

Building a Site with Relume's AI
Relume built three sites from my three briefs. The median from brief to a live site was 22 minutes: the cafe took about 22, the shop 16 and the photographer 38. You paste your brief into one box, and the agent writes the brief, the sitemap, the wireframe and the design of the Home page on its own.
The AI building the Home page.
The other pages are left empty until you ask, and the agent offers buttons such as 'Build the Book page'. Each page took one to four minutes. Then you press Publish and the site is live at a free address.
The AI usage meter went up by 47% for the photographer and 30% for the shop. After all my edits it read 95%, so the plan covers about two sites like these a month.

Relume Design on Phones and Desktops
Relume's sites look polished on phones and desktops, so you would not guess an AI made them. My checker still counted 17 faults over the three sites.
The cafe Home page on a phone. The shop page on a phone. The photographer Pricing page on a phone.
The faults are small tap targets, overlapping text (mostly the corner badge) and pale text on the shop. Every site keeps a grey script 'Logo' in the menu bar. Nothing scrolled sideways.
For accessibility, axe-core found a critical problem on every cafe and photographer page at phone width, and the photographer's booking form has a field with no label.

Editing Your Relume Site
Most edits worked: 11 of 12 on the live cafe site. They covered layout, font, colours, pages, forms, images, links, custom code and an AI rewrite.
The one that did not work is a change for phones only. In phone view every section says 'Editing happens on desktop', so the phone layout cannot be changed on its own.
The Menu page after I asked the AI to sort it.
I also sent the AI five written instructions. It did 4 right: it changed the weekend hours on every page, added a Gift Cards page to the menu, translated the Contact page into Spanish and sorted the Menu page. It could not change the alt text of existing images. Two of the four also changed more than I asked, such as a new 'More' list in the menu bar.
Relume Page Speed
Relume's pages are fast enough on phones. Google's speed test gave a median of 80 out of 100 across 18 phone runs on six pages.

Relume Uptime Test: 30 Days on My Test Sites
I'm watching my three Relume test sites for 30 days, from 29 October to 28 November 2026.
My own monitor opens each site every five minutes and records whether it answered and how fast. Relume hosts the sites, so a Relume outage would show here.
Is it really Relume serving these sites?
Yes. Each address belongs to Relume's own hosting domain, every answer carries Relume's headers, and every page shows a 'Built in Relume' badge. RankDude itself runs elsewhere (Vercel).

There is an Indexing switch in Discoverability. With it on, robots.txt does not name AI crawlers. With it off, every page says noindex and 14 named crawlers, including GPTBot and ClaudeBot, are blocked. I switched my sites back to hidden.
Relume Domain, Blog and Shop
Relume's form failed for me. I pressed 'Send message' and it answered 'Something went wrong while sending your message. Please try again.'
The form after pressing Send message.
A Cloudflare 'Verify you are human' box showed, and I did not tick it, because a test may not pass a human check. A custom domain and no badge need Launch hosting: the Domains screen says 'Upgrade' even on the Pro plan. Built-in analytics exists. Spanish is one extra page, with no language switcher. Relume Publish has no checkout, so the shop takes orders by email. This section is not graded.
Can You Take Your Relume Site With You?
Relume gave me no export file. On the Free plan, pressing HTML opened 'Upgrade required: Export your project', and four of the five pages were blurred. After the Pro plan, the pages opened and the wall was gone.
Export to TXT on the paid plan.
Export to TXT shows an outline of the site in a box with a 'Copy text' button, and HTML opens a note that the components are static. For the published site, I found no download of its code or pages. 'Unpublish Site' takes it down. It is copy and paste only.
Relume Backups and Security
Relume's live sites send five headers of the six I check and force https, so you get a padlock. They lack Permissions-Policy. The certificate comes from Google Trust Services and runs to 27 January 2027.
I could not test backups or restoring an earlier version, and I did not look for two-factor sign-in. Settings has a 'Show cookie banner' switch (Reject, Manage, Accept), off by default. Before any consent my browser held one cookie, from Cloudflare, on each site.
My accessibility results are in the design section. Relume's panel said 93 for accessibility, and my axe-core run found a critical problem on phones.
Relume Help and Support
Relume's support is a waiting chat. The Submit Request button opens a chat that asks for a name, an email, a topic and a product, then says 'We usually reply within 24 hours'.
The Relume support page.
I sent my three standard questions in that chat, and no answer had arrived when I stopped watching. No support email address is published, so I did not guess one. Support is not graded.
Final verdict: is the Relume website builder worth it?

Hey, I'm Miles, and this is RankDude, where I test AI tools hands on and publish every number, so you can decide before you pay. Today it's Relume, an AI website builder. I tested its free plan first, then a paid Pro plan, and gave it all three of my standard briefs: a cafe, a photographer and a shop. The short version is that it builds a fast first draft with nearly every fact right, and eleven of my twelve edits worked. But the sites have seventeen design faults, the AI made up five small details, and no export gave me a file. My rating is three point six out of five, from eight graded tests.
So, what is Relume? You paste a description, and an AI agent writes the brief, the sitemap, the wireframes and the design. Then one button publishes the site to Relume's own hosting. I put all three of my sites on the free hosting. A custom domain and no badge cost extra.
I pasted each brief word for word into one box. The cafe was live after about twenty two minutes, the shop after sixteen, and the photographer after thirty eight. The median is twenty two minutes. That scores three. The agent builds the home page first and leaves the other pages empty until you ask. After I pressed publish, each site was live on a free address. The usage meter went up forty seven percent for the photographer and thirty percent for the shop, so the plan covers about two sites a month.
Did it stick to my facts? Almost. Of fifty seven facts, fifty six were on the pages. The photographer's Instagram name was missing. The AI also made up five small details, like saying the potter throws every piece on the wheel. It added no reviews, awards or staff. That scores three.
Design. The sites look polished on phones and desktops. My checker still counted seventeen faults across the three sites, mostly a corner badge over the text, small buttons and pale text on the shop. A grey placeholder logo stays in every menu bar. That scores two.
Editing. I made all twelve edits on the cafe, and eleven worked. The one that did not is a change for phones only. Relume says editing happens on desktop. I also sent the AI five written instructions. It did four, including a Spanish contact page. It could not change the alt text of existing images. Editing scores four.
Speed. On phones, Google's speed test gave a median of eighty out of one hundred, across eighteen runs on six pages. That scores four. All three sites are live, so my monitor opens each one every five minutes for thirty days.
Now, what blocked me. The contact form did not send. A Cloudflare box asked me to verify I am human, and I did not tick it, because a test may not pass a human check. A custom domain needs the Launch plan. Exports gave me no file: Export to text only shows an outline to copy. That scores two. And my three support questions were still unanswered when I stopped watching.
Pricing. Publishing is free, with a Relume badge and fifteen hundred page views a month. Launch hosting adds your own domain and removes the badge. It is twelve dollars a month billed yearly, which is one hundred and forty four dollars, or sixteen dollars billed monthly. My Pro plan was free on a coupon, normally twenty four dollars a month, with the next charge on the twenty ninth of November. That scores four.
So, my verdict. Relume did the main job: three sites, nearly every fact right, live in a median of twenty two minutes. I would recommend it for a quick first site. It suits you if you will add your own logo and check the facts. The eight graded tests average three point two five. The free plan let me run five of ten tests, and eleven of my twelve edits worked, so I added point three, and I rate Relume three point six out of five. Every measurement is on the test results page at rankdude dot A I.

Frequently asked questions
How much does Relume cost, and is it free?
Free to publish. Free hosting costs $0 and has a Relume badge and 1,500 page views a month. Launch hosting is $12 a month billed yearly or $16 billed monthly, and the Pro AI plan is $14 or $24. I had Pro for $0 on a coupon, and its next charge is 29 November 2026. The Launch renewal price is not shown.
Is Relume legit?
Yes, mostly. It built the three sites I asked for, kept to nearly all my facts and published them to working addresses. It also made up five small details, so read what it writes.
Can I export my Relume site or move it?
No file. Export to TXT shows an outline to copy, and HTML opens a note about static components. I found no download of the published site's code.
How do I cancel Relume, and can I get a refund?
Plan screen. Account settings has a 'Cancel plan' button next to the Pro plan, and 'Unpublish Site' takes a site down. I did not cancel or ask for a refund, because the owner decides.
Is Relume easy for a beginner?
Yes, to start. You paste a description and the AI builds the pages, but the Pro plan's AI usage ran to 95% after about two sites and my edits. The editor is plain, but phone-only changes are not possible.
Can I sell things on Relume?
No shop found. Relume Publish has no checkout, and my shop took orders by email. A custom domain and no badge need Launch hosting.
Disclosure. I tested on a Relume plan RankDude paid for at the public price. Relume didn’t see this review first and had no say in my rating. How RankDude makes money is on the disclosure page.
