Deployment platform statistics, September 2026
Miles FosterOwner and tester, RankDude
Every month I measure 43 deployment platform sites with data from DataForSEO, Google Trends, Tranco and Ahrefs. They are the sites that rank on Google for "deployment platforms" plus the most-visited deployment platform sites overall. In September 2026 they got about 2.7 million visits from Google, 9% fewer than a year ago.
Below: one short section per statistics page, starting with whether the market is growing. The tools I test are on the Deployment platforms page.

Market demand
1Is the deployment platform market growing in 2026?
Growing, but visits are down 14% since August 2026.
Over two years, visits went from 2.0M in October 2024 to a high of 3.1M in August 2026, and stand at 2.7M in September 2026. Much of the year’s change is one site, Vercel, which is why I also look at the market without it.

Miles explains
I only call a market growing when visits and name searches agree. Here visits are up and name searches are up, so they agree.
Search trends
2How many people search for Deployment platforms in 2026?
“deployment platforms” is searched about 390 times a month worldwide, 18% of it in the US.
Google Trends barely registered “deployment platforms” until June 2025; interest then climbed to its peak in September 2025. Americans make 18% of the searches but only 10.6% of the visits, because the big sites also draw heavily from India, Brazil and United Kingdom.

Google Trends shows direction, not volume. Interest is lower than a year ago, and I only trust that when the visits move the same way.
Monthly analysis
3What changed in the deployment platform market in September 2026?
Fewer visits than a year ago only because of Vercel, but more people searching by name, and the next six months look flat after a step up.
The fastest growers over the year, Encore Cloud, Northflank and Railway, grew fastest, mostly from a smaller base. The losers, led by Porter, lost most of their search visits (-73%).

Huge percentages like Encore Cloud’s +214% usually mean one site won a big Google ranking from a small start. I watch whether it holds the next month.
Monthly forecast
4What happens next for Deployment platforms?
I expect October 2026 to be 6% more than September 2026, and the next six months to look up.
The forecast carries the level of recent months forward, not the trend line, because that version missed least when tested on past months. October is usually a quieter month than average for searches, but the calendar did not improve the forecast, so it is left out.

Vercel alone has 29% of all visits. That’s a big lead, but one Google update can close it fast.
