AI marketing tools hit a record. Look who's carrying it.

One site now takes 6 in 10 visits. Strip it out and the market shrank.

RankDude data shows AI tools for marketing got a record 1.5 billion visits from Google in October. But ChatGPT got about 6 in 10 of them. So what happens when you take it away?

The short version

  • 1.5 billion: Google visits in October, a record.
  • ChatGPT: about 61.3% of all visits.
  • -13.7%: the market in a year, without ChatGPT.
  • Creatopy: down 99.7%, the worst fall.

The record month

In October 2025, these sites got about 890,000,000 visits from Google.

This October? About 1.5 billion. That's the most in my data.

The quietest month was November 2024, at about 440,000,000.

So who brought all those new visits?

Meet the giant

ChatGPT got about 919,000,000 visits in October.

A year ago, it got about 219,000,000. That's up 319.9%.

It gained about 700,000,000 visits. The whole market gained about 608,000,000.

So one site grew more than the whole market did. That's wild.

How is that even possible?

Everyone else slipped

Simple. The rest lost visits. Take ChatGPT out, and the market fell 13.7% in a year.

Adobe dropped from about 299,000,000 to about 251,000,000.

Canva slipped from about 230,000,000 to about 221,000,000.

The top five sites now hold 96.2% of all visits. Everyone else shares crumbs.

But a few smaller names had a great year.

The other winners

Claude jumped 319.1%, to about 28,700,000 visits.

Higgsfield grew 176.6%, to about 1.9 million.

Nextify is tiny but racing. It went from about 7,500 to about 27,600 in one month.

So which corners of the market grew?

Three hot corners

AI social media post generators hit about 1.4 billion visits, up 82.1%.

AI blog writers grew 317.8%, to about 948,000,000.

AI product description generators rose 224.5%, to about 997,000,000.

These add up to more than the total. One site can sit in several corners.

I think ChatGPT's jump is what lifts all three. And the rest? Not so happy.

The crash corner

AI copywriting tools fell 70.7% in a year.

AI caption generators dropped 62%.

AI brand generators fell 58.7%.

Creatopy had the worst fall. It dropped 99.7%, to about 1,100 visits.

Writesonic fell 95% in a year.

Brevo went from about 3 million to about 414,000 in October alone.

Why? My data can't say. I'll keep watching. See every site on the AI tools for marketing statistics page.

“A record market can still be a shrinking one. Look closer.”

How I measured this

I add up the visits from Google for every site in this category, counting each site once.

These are estimates, not exact counts, and odd one-off spikes are smoothed. More on my methodology and DataForSEO.
