I only call a market growing when visits and name searches agree. Here visits are up and name searches are up, so they agree.

“ai blog writer” is searched about 1,600 times a month worldwide, 16% of it in the US.

Google Trends barely registered “ai blog writer” until December 2022; interest then climbed to its peak in May 2026. Americans make 16% of the searches but only 8% of the visits, because the big sites also draw heavily from India, Germany and Canada.

The fastest growers over the year, ChatGPT and Claude, each grew several times over, usually from a small base. The losers, led by Writesonic, lost most of their search visits (-95%).
