Prompt to Live Site
n/aNot Tested- Method
- Each brief was pasted word for word into Readdy's start box and sent.
- Cafe, finished
- About 4 min
- Photographer, finished
- Under 3 min
- Credits per standard site
- 25
- Questions asked first
- 0
- Remark
- Not graded. The scale ends at a published site at a public address. The free plan stops at a private preview, which is a paywall and not a speed result, so I report the times and leave the test without a score.
Raw notes
Each brief was pasted word for word into Readdy's start box and sent. Readdy then asked me to pick a build type; I chose Standard Site (25 credits). The clock ran from that click to the moment the chat said the pages were built. The free plan cannot publish, so a live address was never reached.
The cafe was built about 4 minutes after I picked Standard Site, including a gap while my test browser restarted; the build kept running on Readdy's side. The photographer's site took under 3 minutes. Neither build asked a question.
The start page offered four build types: Flash 10 credits (20 seconds), Standard 25, Cinematic Video-Hero 50 and Interactive Video-Hero 50. The standard sites came with 5 pages (cafe) and 5 pages plus a booking form (photographer), photos made by the AI, and a chat summary of what was built.
- Times were read from my own session log. The cafe time includes a short gap while my browser restarted.
Page Speed
n/aNot Tested- Method
- Google's speed test (Lighthouse) needs to load a page without logging in.
- Public address
- None
- Remark
- Not graded: there is no public page to test.
Raw notes
Google's speed test (Lighthouse) needs to load a page without logging in. Readdy's preview address answers 'invalid authorization' to a visitor who is not signed in, and the free plan cannot publish.
I could not measure page speed. The preview address is private, and no public address exists for the free plan.
- A published site on a paid plan may differ.
SEO Basics
n/aNot Tested- Method
- The twelve points were read in the HTML of the cafe's preview pages.
- Points seen on the preview
- 6 of 12
- Pages sharing one description
- 5 of 5
- Remark
- Not graded: several points can only be read on a published site.
Raw notes
The twelve points were read in the HTML of the cafe's preview pages. A sitemap, robots.txt and redirects exist only on a published site, so the test is not graded.
6 of 12 points were seen on the preview: a title and a description, one H1 on every page, alt text on every picture, social-card tags (Open Graph), a page language and a clean address for each page.
Missing on the preview: a canonical tag and structured data. All five pages share the same title and the same description, written for the home page, so a page's own description is not set until you write it. The sitemap and robots.txt could not be read.
- Everything here is the preview address.
Hosting, Domain & Selling
n/aNot Tested- Method
- I opened the Publish panel, and pressed Publish, and I tried to start a third project.
- Walls reached
- 4
- Business points tried
- 0 of 12
- Remark
- Not graded: most of the twelve points are behind a paid plan, and a free-plan score would only measure the paywall.
Raw notes
I opened the Publish panel, and pressed Publish, and I tried to start a third project. At each wall I recorded its words and the price to pass it.
Publishing is blocked. The Publish panel offers https://vgxzpt.readdy.co and 'Publish on my own domain', with 'Get a free .com domain with an annual plan.' Pressing Publish opened 'Need to Publish with Subdomain? Publish in Seconds, Go Live Now', with the Starter plan at $25 a month or $15 a month billed yearly, 1 site included and $10 a month per extra site.
A third project was refused: 'You've Reached Project Limit. Upgrade to Build More Projects.' The free plan allows 2 projects and no published site.
A domain, a form message, a test order, tax, shipping and a mailbox could not be tried because the site is not live. The sidebar has Forms, Leads, Appointments, Shop and Backend screens that I did not test.
- No domain was connected, no order was placed and no mailbox was made.
Export & Ownership
n/aNot Tested- Method
- I opened the Code tab in the editor and read the pricing page for what each plan includes.
- Code download on the free plan
- Locked
- Remark
- Not graded: with no paid plan I could not try the export, the domain move or the cancel path.
Raw notes
I opened the Code tab in the editor and read the pricing page for what each plan includes.
The Code tab opens a locked screen: 'Unlock Code Editing & Download. Upgrade to get full code access.' with an Upgrade button. A file list (public, src, package.json, README) is visible behind it, with only a placeholder 'Welcome to My App' file readable.
The pricing page lists 'Export Code' on Starter and above, and not on Free. I did not test an export, a refund or a cancel, because I paid nothing.
- Wording read on 29 October 2026. I did not read the terms of service in full.
Help & Support
n/aNot Tested- Method
- I emailed Readdy's address, hi@readdy.ai (found on its home page), one message with three questions on 29 October 2026; the thread is logged in the evidence folder.
- Questions emailed
- 3
- Remark
- Not graded until Readdy replies.
Raw notes
I emailed Readdy's address, hi@readdy.ai (found on its home page), one message with three questions on 29 October 2026; the thread is logged in the evidence folder. I did not search my inbox for replies.
No reply had arrived when I wrote this, so support is not graded. The three questions were how to connect a domain bought elsewhere, why contact-form messages might not arrive, and how to change the card and switch to yearly billing.
- One email, sent once. The help centre and live chat were not used.
Design & Mobile Layout
3/5Tested- Method
- Every page of the two first drafts was loaded at 360, 768 and 1440 pixels wide on the preview address, before I edited anything.
- Design faults, 10 pages
- 17
- Cafe / photographer
- 7 / 10
- Sideways scrolling
- None
- Broken images
- 0
- Remark
- 17 faults on two sites is under 9 a site, which is the 6-to-10 band: 3/5. The scale counts faults across three sites, so I used the average of the two I could build.
Raw notes
Every page of the two first drafts was loaded at 360, 768 and 1440 pixels wide on the preview address, before I edited anything. The checker counted sideways scrolling, tap targets under 24 pixels, text under WCAG AA contrast (axe-core), placeholders, broken images and overlapping text, once per type per page.
17 faults on 10 pages, 7 on the cafe and 10 on the photographer: small tap targets on all 10 pages (the menu links, footer links and some buttons), text under the contrast rule on 7 pages (white text on the terracotta buttons at 4.3 to 1, and white text on a green label at 3.7 to 1, where 4.5 is needed).
No page scrolled sideways, no image was broken and no placeholder text was left. Every picture had alt text. The cafe's contact form has three fields with no label and a drop-down with no name for a screen reader (axe-core).
The cafe's headline reads over a loaf of bread on the home page; the sentence under it crosses the bread and is harder to read there. On a phone you see the menu fold into a button, and the pages stack cleanly.
- The pottery shop was not built, so two of the three sites were checked. The pages were read on the preview address, not a published site.
Brief & Copy Accuracy
3/5Tested- Method
- Each brief has 20 facts.
- Facts right
- 40 of 40
- Cafe / photographer
- 20 / 20
- Claims I never gave
- 4
- Made-up reviews or staff
- 0
- Remark
- All facts right is the top band on facts, but four added claims, one of them 12 made-up portfolio photos, put it at 3/5 on the scale (two or three invented items). No made-up reviews or staff, so it stays out of the 2 band.
Raw notes
Each brief has 20 facts. Every page of each first draft was read and each fact marked right, missing or wrong. Anything the AI added that the brief did not give was listed as a claim I never gave. Marketing wording such as 'a neighborhood spot' was treated as style.
40 of 40 facts were right: 20 of 20 on the cafe and 20 of 20 on the photographer. Nothing was wrong or missing, including the prices, hours, address, phone and the booking form.
Four claims I never gave: the cafe's catering page lists the five menu items under 'What we make' as if they were catering items, and a line says 'Bring your laptop and stay a while'. The photographer's elopement package is given a 6-week delivery, which the brief gave only for weddings. And the 12 portfolio photos of couples, families and people are pictures the AI made, shown as the photographer's work; Readdy's chat said the images were AI-generated.
The briefs said not to add reviews, awards or staff, and Readdy added none.
- Only two of the three briefs were built, so 40 facts were checked and not 60. The third was refused by the free plan's 2-project limit.
Editing Freedom
3/5Tested- Method
- The twelve fixed edits were tried on the cafe draft, each as one written sentence in Readdy's chat, and checked on the preview address.
- Edits done on the cafe
- 8 of 12
- Median time per edit
- About 23 s
- Free credits
- 250, all used
- Embedded code
- Refused
- Remark
- 8 of 12 is the 7-to-9 band: 3/5. Four edits were not done, but only because the credits ran out; the grade follows the scale's count of edits done.
Raw notes
The twelve fixed edits were tried on the cafe draft, each as one written sentence in Readdy's chat, and checked on the preview address. The chat showed a numbered version after each edit. The free credits ran out after eight edits, and the page's built-in code editor is locked on this plan.
8 of 12 edits worked: site font (26 seconds), site colours (52), a new page with its menu link in the header and footer (53), a footer line (16), a form field (25), a button link (20), a duplicated section (18) and a phone-only change (20). The median was about 23 seconds. The phone-only change hid a button and shrank the headline at 390 pixels and left the desktop alone.
Not run: move a section and replace an image (the credits had run out before I tried them), embed custom code and rewrite one section from a written line. The embed and the rewrite were refused with 'Need more Credits. Upgrade to keep building.' The Code tab says 'Unlock Code Editing & Download. Upgrade to get full code access.'
Readdy's 250 free credits paid for two builds of 25 and eight edits, about 25 credits each by my sum. The credit number at the top of the page did not move during the edits. Readdy's Subscription page then read 'Monthly Credits Left 0 / 250' and 'Included Site Hosting 0 Live / 0 Total'.
- Move a section and replace an image were never tried. Five written instructions and a template switch were not run.
Pricing & Value
4/5Tested- Method
- Every plan was read on Readdy's pricing page, on the Monthly and 1 Year views, and on the plan window that opens from Publish.
- Starter, billed yearly
- $15 a month
- Starter, billed monthly
- $25 a month
- Starter, yearly total
- $180
- Free credits
- 250 a month
- Remark
- $180 a year is in the 120-to-199-dollar band: 4/5. On monthly billing Starter would be $300 a year (2/5). The renewal price is unknown, so I could not check the same-price-at-renewal condition.
Raw notes
Every plan was read on Readdy's pricing page, on the Monthly and 1 Year views, and on the plan window that opens from Publish. The figure graded is the yearly cost of the cheapest plan that publishes a site and connects a free custom domain.
The free plan is $0: 250 credits a month, 2 projects, 200 MB of storage and no published site. Starter is $15 a month on yearly billing, which is $180 a year, and $25 a month on monthly billing.
Pro is $24 a month yearly or $40 monthly, with 2 sites. Agency is $72 or $120. The yearly view shows each regular price struck through beside the lower price, and the pricing page says 40% off for 1 year.
Inside the app, the Subscription page showed a 50% yearly offer with a countdown and Starter at 12 dollars a month, where the pricing page showed $15. Both give a yearly total in the same band (144 and 180 dollars). I could not see a renewal price or an itemised bill, because that needs a purchase. The window that opens from Publish gave 2,500 credits a month for Starter, where the pricing page says 30,000 credits for the year, which is the same amount.
- I paid nothing. Renewal prices and transaction fees need a purchase.
Coverage
Tested
- Two sites built from the cafe and photographer briefs on the free plan
- 40 brief facts checked on every page of the two first drafts, and every extra claim counted
- Layout and accessibility (axe-core) on 10 pages at three widths
- Eight edits on the cafe site, with the time each took
- The Publish panel, the project limit, the credit wall and the locked code editor, with their exact words
- Readdy's own pricing page
Not tested or limited
- Free plan only: publishing, a custom domain, code editing and download, and more than 2 projects are behind a paid plan, and I did not buy one
- No live site exists, so there is no uptime monitor, no test-site card and no speed test: the preview address needs a login
- Build speed is not graded: its scale ends at a published site, and the free plan cannot publish
- Page speed is not graded: Google's speed test cannot read a page behind a login
- SEO is not graded: a sitemap and robots.txt exist only for a published site
- The pottery shop brief was refused by the 2-project limit, so 60 facts were not checked, only 40
- Four of the twelve edits were not run: the 250 free credits ran out, and the code editor is locked
- Hosting, domain, selling, export and cancel were left out because they need a paid plan
- Support is not graded: one email with three questions was sent on 29 October 2026 and no reply had arrived when I wrote this
Still to test
- A published site on Starter: page speed, SEO, the domain, a test order and a cancel
- The pottery shop brief and the 60-fact total
- The four edits the free credits could not pay for
- The 30-day uptime test on a live site
- Support's reply to the three questions
