Every month I measure Google visits to the 11 AI marketing agent sites I track, and how often people search for them by name. In September 2026 they got about 445,909 visits, 88% fewer than a year ago and 26% fewer than in August 2026.

AI marketing agent market: the key numbers for September 2026

  • The tracked sites got 445,909 visits from Google in September 2026, 88% fewer than a year ago and 26% fewer than in August 2026. ManyChat, which takes 72.2% of all the visits, accounts for most of the fall (94% of it). Without it, visits would be down 61.0% on a year ago instead of down 88.3%. ManyChat lost more visits in September 2026 (186,523) than the whole market did (154,075); without it, visits to the other sites rose 35.4% on August 2026.
  • “ai agents for marketing” gets about 480 US searches a month. People searched the site names 117,690 times in the US in September 2026, 48% more often than in October 2025.
  • No tracked site ranks on Google for “ai agents for marketing”. ManyChat is the most-visited site.
  • 16.4% of visits came from the US (5.2% a year ago), then India, Brazil and United Kingdom. The five most-visited sites took 98.7% of all visits.

Judge this line on the year, not the last dot: visits are 88% below a year ago, and 88% below the September 2025 high. One site winning or losing a ranking can swing a single month a lot.
