Every month I add up the Google visits to the 11 AI marketing agent sites I track (DataForSEO estimates) and how often people in the US search for them by name (Google Ads). In September 2026 they got about 445,909 visits. Much of the year’s change is one site, ManyChat; without it, visits are down 61% on a year ago.

No. The 11 tracked AI marketing agent sites got 445,909 visits from Google search in September 2026. That is 88% fewer visits than in September 2025, or 61% fewer without ManyChat, and 26% fewer visits than in August 2026.
The highest month of the last two years was September 2025, with 3,816,168 visits; September 2026 is 88% below it. In the US, visits were 73,113, down 63% on a year ago.

Miles explains
Visits are lower than a year ago. Most of the drop since August 2026 is one site: ManyChat went from 508,449 to 321,926 visits. Without it, the other sites grew 35% on the month. Name searches rose (+48%) and Google Trends interest in the term held about level (-2%), so the drop looks like a few big sites losing Google rankings, not people losing interest.

Yes, more than before. People in the US searched Google for the names of the counted AI marketing agent sites 117,690 times in September 2026, 48% more searches than in October 2025. Someone who searches a site’s name already knows it, so this is the clearest sign of people coming back on purpose. The term “ai agents for marketing” itself gets about 480 US searches a month (Google Ads, 12-month average).
