Every month I add up the Google visits to the 25 AI agent builder sites I track (DataForSEO estimates) and how often people in the US search for them by name (Google Ads). In September 2026 they got about 1.9 million visits.

The total hides very different stories: one site grew 1953% in a year while another lost 90% of its visits. See who grew and who shrank, the visits month by month and the name searches, plus what I expect for October 2026.

1.Are more people visiting AI agent builder sites than a year ago?

Down 27% on a year ago; about level with August 2026 (-2%)

No. The 25 tracked AI agent builder sites got 1,920,030 visits from Google search in September 2026. That is 27% fewer visits than in September 2025, and about the same as in August 2026.

The highest month of the last two years was January 2026, with 2,663,318 visits; September 2026 is 28% below it. In the US, visits were 217,098, up 6% on a year ago.

Visits are lower than a year ago, but the fall looks like it has stopped: September 2026 was level on August 2026. Name searches fell (-31%), but Google Trends interest in the term held about level (+4%). The counted sites are losing ground; that does not mean interest in AI agent builder sites is falling.

2.Are people searching for AI agent builder sites by name?

Fewer than before. People in the US searched Google for the names of the counted AI agent builder sites 90,390 times in September 2026, 31% fewer searches than in October 2025. Someone who searches a site’s name already knows it, so this is the clearest sign of people coming back on purpose.
