YouTube
Where most hands-on reviews of AI girlfriend products live. For that category I read the transcripts, not the titles.

What YouTube is
For AI girlfriend platforms YouTube is the main place people publish a real test: someone pays for a plan, records the chat, the images and the voice, and says what they think. Written reviews of those sites are mostly affiliate pages; the video reviews are frequently the only independent account of what a product does.
For that category I fetched the videos and their transcripts through SerpApi, read each transcript in full and summarised what the reviewer actually found. View counts come along with the result, which shows how much weight a given opinion carries. The other categories do not carry this reading yet.
Why it can be relied on
- It is a primary source: the reviewer's own words, in full, not a summary of a summary.
- View counts are public, so a video with 300,000 views can be weighted differently from one with 90.
- A video is hard to quietly edit after the fact, unlike a web page, so a transcript is a durable record of what was claimed.
What is taken from it
- Video reviews
- The most-watched videos about each AI girlfriend brand, each one summarised from its transcript.
- View counts
- Kept next to each video, so you can see whether the consensus rests on an audience or on one clip.
- The balance of opinion
- Each video is classified as positive, mixed, neutral or negative after reading, and the AI girlfriend monthly analysis tallies the result.
What it cannot tell me
- A great deal of it is affiliate content. Promotional videos are marked as such rather than counted as reviews.
- Videos about a different product with a similar name are common. Those are dropped, not counted.
- Only videos with transcripts can be analysed properly; the rest are left out of the summary.
Where it appears on this site
Cited as YouTube, with the month it covers, on every category’s statistics pages where it applies. In the AI girlfriend section, for example:
The source itself
This is the only page on the site that links out to YouTube. Everywhere else, a citation links here instead, so the context travels with the number.
