Deployment platform statistics, October 2026

Miles FosterOwner and tester, RankDude

Every month I measure 43 deployment platform sites with data from DataForSEO, Google Trends, Tranco and Ahrefs. They are the sites that rank on Google for "deployment platforms" plus the most-visited deployment platform sites overall. In October 2026 they got about 2.8 million visits from Google, 7% fewer than a year ago.

Below: one short section per statistics page, starting with whether the market is growing. The tools I test are on the Deployment platforms page.

Market demand

1Is the deployment platform market growing in 2026?

Growing, but visits are down 11% since August 2026.

Over two years, visits went from 1.5M in November 2024 to a high of 3.1M in August 2026, and stand at 2.8M in October 2026. Much of the year’s change is one site, Vercel, which is why I also look at the market without it.

I only call a market growing when visits and name searches agree. Here visits are up and name searches are up, so they agree.

Monthly analysis

3What changed in the deployment platform market in October 2026?

Fewer visits than a year ago only because of Vercel, but more people searching by name, and the next six months look flat.

The fastest growers over the year, Northflank, Encore Cloud and Render, grew fastest, mostly from a smaller base. The losers, led by Porter, lost most of their search visits (-74%).

Huge percentages like Northflank’s +124% usually mean one site won a big Google ranking from a small start. I watch whether it holds the next month.

Monthly forecast

4What happens next for Deployment platforms?

I expect November 2026 to be about the same as October 2026, and the next six months to look flat.

The forecast carries the level of recent months forward, not the trend line, because that version missed least when tested on past months. November is usually a quieter month than average for searches, but the calendar did not improve the forecast, so it is left out.

Miles explains

Vercel alone has 28% of all visits. That’s a big lead, but one Google update can close it fast.

7Deployment platform statistics: questions people ask

How many people use Deployment platforms?

The 43 deployment platform sites RankDude measures got about 2.8 million visits from Google in October 2026. That counts visits from Google search only, not every visit, so the real total is higher.

Is the deployment platform market growing?

Mixed. Visits are down 7.4% on a year ago, but only because of Vercel; without it they are up 26%. They have fallen 11% since August 2026. Searches for the sites by name are 88% higher than in October 2025. The forecast for November 2026 is about 2.8 million visits.

Which deployment platform is the most popular?

By visits from Google, Vercel is the most visited, with about 769,951 in October 2026, followed by Netlify and Render. This measures traffic, not quality.

How many people search for "deployment platforms"?

About 390 searches a month worldwide, about 70 of them in the US, on a 12-month average from Google Ads data.

Where do deployment platform users come from?

10.4% of visits come from the United States. Outside the US the largest markets are India, Brazil and United Kingdom.

Where do these deployment platform statistics come from?

Traffic, rankings and search volume come from DataForSEO, popularity from Tranco and the Chrome UX Report, link strength from Ahrefs and search interest from Google Trends via SerpApi. The figures are pulled once a month, after the month has closed, and each edition is kept as published, apart from any correction, which is dated on the page.
