AI roleplay app statistics, October 2026
Miles FosterOwner and tester, RankDude
Every month I measure 10 AI roleplay app sites with data from DataForSEO, Google Trends, Tranco and Ahrefs. They are the sites that rank on Google for "ai roleplay" plus the most-visited AI roleplay app sites overall. In October 2026 they got about 4.3 million visits from Google, 6% fewer than a year ago.
Below: one short section per statistics page, starting with whether the market is growing. The tools I test are on the AI roleplay apps page.

Market demand
1Is the AI roleplay app market growing in 2026?
Growing.
Over two years, visits went from 1.7M in November 2024 to a high of 5.9M in February 2026, fell to 3.1M in July 2026, and recovered to 4.3M in October 2026. Much of the year’s change is one site, CrushOn AI, which is why I also look at the market without it.

Miles explains
I only call a market growing when visits and name searches agree. Here visits are up and name searches are up, so they agree.
Search trends
2How many people search for AI roleplay apps in 2026?
“ai roleplay” is searched about 49,500 times a month worldwide, 45% of it in the US.
Google Trends barely registered “ai roleplay” until April 2023; interest then climbed to its peak in May 2026. Americans make 45% of the searches but only 25.3% of the visits, because the big sites also draw heavily from India, Brazil and Canada.

Google Trends shows direction, not volume. Interest is higher than a year ago, and I only trust that when the visits move the same way.
Monthly analysis
3What changed in the AI roleplay app market in October 2026?
Fewer visits than a year ago only because of CrushOn AI, but more people searching by name, and the next six months look uneven, up and then down.
The fastest growers over the year, Bubio.ai, Nastia and Kindroid, grew fastest, mostly from a smaller base. The losers, led by CrushOn AI, lost ground (-45%).

Huge percentages like Bubio.ai’s +861% usually mean one site won a big Google ranking from a small start. I watch whether it holds the next month.
Monthly forecast
4What happens next for AI roleplay apps?
I expect November 2026 to be 12% fewer than October 2026, and the next six months to look down.
The forecast carries the level of recent months forward with the seasonal pattern, because that version missed least when tested on past months. November is usually a quieter month than average for searches.

Download the data
6Can I download the AI roleplay app data?
Yes. Every number on these pages comes from two CSV files, free to download.
sites.csv has one row per site: its Google US position for “ai roleplay”, Tranco rank, Chrome UX tier, visits from Google worldwide and in the US, name searches, Domain Rating and referring domains, with the month each figure covers. market.csv has the monthly totals across the tracked sites: visits worldwide and in the US, name searches and referring domains. Blanks mean the source had no figure, never zero.
