Google Ads put US searches for "ai phone agent" more than five times higher in July 2026 than in the months before, while Google Trends interest in the US in July 2026 was 25 out of 100, against 78 in June 2026, so the term's search volume is held back on these pages until a later pull confirms it.

Brand-name searches leave out Cresta, PolyAI and Regal: the name is shared with an ordinary word or another product.

2How many people visited

In plain words: These sites got about as many visits from Google as a year ago (-1%), and October 2026 was a weaker month than September 2026 (-10%). Reception by ElevenLabs alone takes 80.3% of the visits, so the totals mostly follow it. Without it, visits would be down 56.5% on a year ago instead of down 0.8%. Reception by ElevenLabs made most of the move in October 2026: it lost 943,301 of the market's 996,806 visits; without it, visits to the other sites fell 3.0% on September 2026.

Judge this line on the year, not the last dot: visits are about level with a year ago, and 33% below the June 2026 high. One site winning or losing a ranking can swing a single month a lot.

3How many people went looking

People typed a site’s name into Google 4% less often than in October 2025 (-4%). That is the loyalty number: nobody types a name by accident.

Name searches are the number I trust most. They are down 4%, and nobody types a site’s name by accident, so this shows fewer people coming back on purpose.

4Where the visitors live

About 11 of every 100 visits come from the United States. Outside the US I measure 7 countries one by one; the largest is India.

The US is the biggest single market, but only about 11 in every 100 visits. India alone is 75.9% of the countries measured outside it.

5The most-visited sites

Reception by ElevenLabs gets the most visits, Retell AI is the name people search for most, and Retell AI is the highest-placed tracked site on Google for “ai phone agent”, at position 9. The five most-visited sites take 97.1% of all visits.
