Over two years, visits went from 4.6M in November 2024 to a high of 32M in October 2026, and stand at 32M in October 2026. Much of the year’s change is one site, Claude, which is why I also look at the market without it.

Google Trends barely registered “ai essay writer” until October 2022; interest then climbed to its peak in April 2023. Americans make 55% of the searches but only 6.4% of the visits, because the big sites also draw heavily from India, United Kingdom and Canada.

More visits than a year ago only because of Claude, more people searching by name, and the next six months look like growth.

The fastest growers over the year, Claude, Samwell and Jenni, grew fastest, mostly from a smaller base. The losers, led by AI-Writer.com, lost most of their search visits (-95%).
