Every month I add up the Google visits to the 36 AI customer service agent sites I track (DataForSEO estimates) and how often people in the US search for them by name (Google Ads). In October 2026 they got about 1.5 million visits. Botpress made most of the move in October 2026: it lost 199,495 of the market's 214,292 visits; without it, visits to the other sites fell 1.1% on September 2026.
The total hides very different stories: one site grew 348% in a year while another lost 73% of its visits. See who grew and who shrank, the visits month by month and the name searches, plus what I expect for November 2026.

1.Are more people visiting AI customer service agent sites than a year ago?
Down 11% on a year ago; down 13% on September 2026
No. The 36 tracked AI customer service agent sites got 1,497,969 visits from Google search in October 2026. That is 11% fewer visits than in October 2025, and 13% fewer visits than in September 2026.
The highest month of the last two years was February 2026, with 2,258,191 visits; October 2026 is 34% below it. In the US, visits were 263,525, down 29% on a year ago.

Miles explains
Visits are lower than a year ago. Most of the drop since September 2026 is one site: Botpress went from 406,498 to 207,003 visits. Without it, the other sites held about level on the month. Name searches fell (-25%), but Google Trends interest in the term rose (+165%). The counted sites are losing ground; that does not mean interest in AI customer service agent sites is falling.

Fewer than before. People in the US searched Google for the names of the counted AI customer service agent sites 61,630 times in September 2026, 25% fewer searches than in October 2025. Someone who searches a site’s name already knows it, so this is the clearest sign of people coming back on purpose.
