Every month I measure Google visits to the 14 AI CAD tool sites I track, and how often people search for them by name. In October 2026 they got about 3.5 million visits, 53% fewer than a year ago and 1% fewer than in September 2026.

AI CAD tool market: the key numbers for October 2026

Four numbers for October 2026. Visits mean visits from Google search to the tracked sites. Tap one for the detail below.

  • The tracked sites got 3,487,315 visits from Google in October 2026, 53% fewer than a year ago and 1% fewer than in September 2026. AutoCAD, which takes 66.9% of all the visits, accounts for most of the fall (98% of it). Without it, visits would be down 5.7% on a year ago instead of down 52.9%.
  • “ai cad” gets about 1,000 US searches a month. People searched the site names 795,900 times in the US in September 2026, 15% more often than in October 2025.
  • 1 tracked site is on Google’s first page for “ai cad”; the highest is DraftAid at position 9. AutoCAD is the most-visited site.
  • 18.1% of visits came from the US (12.9% a year ago), then India, Canada and United Kingdom. The five most-visited sites took 99.4% of all visits.

Judge this line on the year, not the last dot: visits are 53% below a year ago, and 59% below the December 2025 high. One site winning or losing a ranking can swing a single month a lot.

2How many people went looking

People typed a site’s name into Google 15% more often than in October 2025 (+15%). That is the loyalty number, because nobody types a name by accident.

Miles explains

The US is the single biggest market, but only about 18 in every 100 visits. India alone is 45.2% of the countries I measure outside it.
