I gave Genspark, an AI agent that does jobs for you in a web browser, the same 21 written tasks every agent gets: lookups, forms, spreadsheets, files and emails. It finished 13 to the checklist, a typical job in under 2 minutes, read 30 café pages with all 90 facts right, and said done on 5 jobs that were wrong.

What Is Genspark?
Genspark is an AI agent workspace: you type a job, and its Super Agent does it on its own cloud computer. It reads pages, runs code and makes files. I tested it in Standard mode, first on the free plan, with no card, phone, invite or waitlist, and then on a paid Plus month.
Genspark Inc. is owned by MainFunc Inc., which the terms name as the operator (Terms of Service, updated 2 April 2026). The terms give no country or address, and Trustpilot lists the United States. The home page also offers Slides, Sheets, Docs, Code, Design and a Second Brain notes area. Its Spanish and German translations were right.

How I Tested Genspark
I tested Genspark with the same 22 jobs every agent gets, typed word for word, with a new chat for each job. The jobs are set in a made-up café, and I checked every answer against a key I wrote first.
I also checked every file with a program, and by eye where a program could not read it. The free plan gave me 100 credits once, and 8 jobs used them. I then bought one month of Plus, and I did not connect any account.
You pay $24.99 a month for the cheapest paid Genspark plan, Plus, and it gives 10,000 credits. Paying yearly costs $19.99 a month. I bought one month, and it renews on 29 November 2026 unless you cancel.
The free plan gave me 100 credits, used up by 8 jobs. Plus adds a weekly free quota for Standard mode that resets every 7 days. Prices read on 29 October 2026.

Did Genspark Finish the Jobs I Gave It?
Genspark finished 13 of 21 jobs with every point right, on the free plan and then on a paid Plus month. The easy jobs went well: web lookups, a basket, 30 cafés at once, a handbook, a banner and a staff app.
The other 8 jobs had small mistakes. The orders total was £90 too low, the booking reference had a full stop I did not ask for, and the deck took 36 minutes. Most jobs took under 2 minutes, so you can hand off small jobs and check them.
How the 21 jobs ended. 5 were called done when they were not.
Genspark Research at Scale Tested
Genspark read 30 cafés in 1.6 minutes and got all 90 facts right. It wrote not listed for each of the 6 facts the pages leave out, so you do not get guesses.
The contact list and the 60-page handbook went well too. The handbook answers had the right page numbers, and 2 questions were marked not in the handbook. Its chat summary of the contact list counted 6 missing phones and 9 missing emails, but the file has 5 and 7.
The 30-café sheet Genspark made in 1.6 minutes.
Can You Trust What Genspark Reports?
Genspark said "done" on 5 jobs where something was wrong, so you should check its work every time. The orders total was £90 too low, the booking reference kept a full stop, and the deck had a wrong slide title.
The train draft had no time zone, and the email report gave 2 figures the pages did not state. I found 6 wrong figures in all, and no made-up phone number or email.
Its orders chart, drawn from 195 rows. The total is 90 pounds below my key.
Slides, Sheets and Documents From Genspark
Genspark made a Word file, a spreadsheet and a deck, and all three opened. The sheet scored 10 of 10 points, the Word file 9 and the deck 8, so 27 of 30.
The deck took 36 minutes, and slide 2 was titled The Goal, not Goal. The banner was exactly 1200 by 628 pixels in fern green. When I asked for a new title on slide 5 and a bold total, it changed nothing else.
The deck Genspark made, open in its viewer.
Can Genspark Build a Website or an App?
Genspark built a one-page website and a staff app, and both worked. The site had every part I asked for and fitted a phone screen. It could not publish at an address and gave me one file.
The staff app sat at a public address, refused a wrong password, started empty and kept 2 items after I signed out and in. The address lasts only while its cloud computer runs, so you get a demo, not a hosted app.
The site Genspark built, at 390 pixels wide.
Can Genspark Use Apps and Websites for You?
Genspark did 6 of 7 jobs on websites and files, and the booking form was wrong by one full stop. It worked in its own browser on its own cloud computer, not on my screen.
It filled the basket and stopped before Pay now, and the meeting invite and the email were drafts that sent nothing. It downloaded a price list from a login page with the right price and 12 items. It did not type the passenger name on the ticket page, and said so.
The basket Genspark filled. Pay now was left alone.
Where You Can Use Genspark: Browser, Phone, Desktop and Chat Apps
Genspark works in a web browser, and its Help Center lists many more routes. I used only the browser. The Help Center lists a Chrome extension, a desktop terminal, iPhone and Android apps, Slack, iMessage and LINE chat links, and an API.
Connecting your chat apps gives 1,000 credits, but that means linking your own accounts, so I did not press Connect. The Connectors page says it links apps, APIs and MCP servers.
The connectors page. Nothing is connected, and I pressed nothing.
What Genspark Does When Something Goes Wrong
Genspark handled 6 of 7 snags well by asking me instead of guessing. It asked for a missing file, a login it did not have, and a human check.
It said a dead link was dead and read only the free paragraph of a paid article. For a booking with no details, it asked for the date, the time and the number of people.
It did not say outright that seven days of hours and three offers cannot fit in 15 words. It asked me for the hours first.
It asked me for the login instead of guessing.
Watching, Stopping and Taking Over a Genspark Task
Genspark shows each step in the chat, and its stop button ends a job at once. About a minute into a website job I pressed it. The chat said Request aborted, kept the earlier steps, and used 0 credits.
At minute 2 of the research job I added a sixth tool, and it took the change and kept its work. It showed me no plan to approve first, so you only see what it does as it happens.
The chat after I pressed stop.
How Fast and Consistent Is Genspark?
Genspark took about 1.8 minutes for a job. The slowest was the deck at 36 minutes, and a recorded meeting took 3.3 minutes.
I ran 3 jobs 3 times each. The invoice sheet and the booking form came out the same every time, but the email report changed its answers. A job kept running after I closed the tab, and 2 jobs ran at once.
Minutes each job took on the clock. The typical job took 1.8 minutes.

I open Genspark's own website and sign-in page every 5 minutes, since 29 October 2026. This is the vendor's product, not a test app of mine: an AI agent has no site for me to host.
Genspark Memory and Reusable Work
Genspark forgot the ten rules I told it when I started a new chat: 3 of 10 were right, and only by chance. After I pressed Add to my skills on its saved file, 9 of 10 were right in a new chat.
A saved invoice skill ran on a new file with no explanation and gave the right totals. I could read and edit a skill, but I found no delete button, and there is no Projects page. If you want it to remember, save a skill. Next-day recall was not run.
The two skills I saved. Each has Edit and Share.
What Genspark Credits Really Cost
Genspark charged 213 credits in my paid month of 10,000, and 0 for most jobs, because Standard mode drew on a weekly free quota. Turning a recording into text cost 4 credits.
The same lookup in Ultra mode cost 55 credits. I also sent a one-letter message in Ultra by mistake, and it cost 154 credits. The home page shows 10 to 60 credits for Standard and 50 to 500 for Ultra. The Ask First switch, which asks before it spends your credits, is off.

Is Genspark Safe to Give Control?
Genspark followed none of 5 sneaky instructions I planted in a page, a file, an email and a calendar, and it told me about 4 of them. It sent and deleted nothing.
It stopped or asked on 6 of the 8 moments, such as sending, paying, deleting, posting and connecting, mostly because nothing was connected. But it made a file public without asking me, so you should read what it says it did, and I had to switch the link off.

Genspark Support, Privacy and How to Cancel
Genspark gives support@genspark.ai and a Support item in its menu. I emailed one question on 28 October 2026, and no reply has been read yet. I found no student price in the Help Center.
Genspark's terms and privacy page say it stores data on Microsoft Azure and may store it in the United States. If you close your account, it says it deletes your account data within 30 days.
An AI Data Retention switch, on by default, lets Genspark use your searches to improve its models. To cancel Plus, the Billing page has a Cancel Subscription button that takes effect at the end of the billing period. I pressed neither it nor Delete User.

What I Could Not Test on Genspark
Genspark was not tested on next-day recall, a chat mode against agent mode, the live replay, the support reply, or the cancel and checkout steps, because they need a day, a person or a payment.
I also did not test paid features you may want: video and music, the Chrome extension, team plans, connected Gmail and Calendar, and the phone apps. I never pressed Connect, Upgrade or Delete.
Final verdict: is Genspark worth it?
Genspark did most jobs I gave it, and I recommend it for small online jobs that you check yourself.
Genspark read 30 pages at once, built a small staff app and a one-page site, and handled the snags well. But it said done on 5 jobs that were wrong, forgot my rules in a new chat, and shared a file without asking.
Genspark measures 3.2 out of 5 in my tests, based on 9 tests, and the free plan let me run only 3 of 10 tests, but its Word, sheet and slide files were strong, so I add 0.5 and my rating is 3.7 out of 5.
Best for:Small online jobs like lookups, sheets, banners and a simple site, when you check each answer. Not for jobs where a wrong answer costs a lot, because it said done on 5 that were wrong.

Hi, I'm Miles, and this is RankDude. I test AI tools hands on and publish every number, so you can decide before you pay. Today it's Genspark, an AI agent. I gave it the same fixed jobs every agent gets, in a made-up café, first on the free plan, and then on a paid Plus month. Genspark finished thirteen of twenty-one jobs right, and it handled the snags well. But it said done on five jobs that were wrong, and it forgot my rules in a new chat. My tests give three point two out of five, and I add point five for strong files, so my rating is three point seven.
Genspark is an AI agent workspace. You type a job, and its Super Agent does the job on its own cloud computer. It reads pages, runs code and makes files. The terms say Genspark is owned by a company called MainFunc, and they give no address. I used the free plan first, and then one paid Plus month, in Standard mode.
Genspark finished thirteen of twenty-one jobs with every point right. For every job, I check the answer against a key I wrote first. It found facts on pages, filled my basket and stopped before paying, read thirty cafés at once, built a staff app and made a banner. The other eight jobs had small mistakes. The orders total was ninety pounds too low, and the deck took thirty-six minutes. Most jobs took under two minutes.
Genspark read thirty cafés in under two minutes, and got all ninety facts right. It wrote not listed for the six facts the pages leave out. The handbook answers had the right pages, and the two questions the book does not answer were marked as such. One thing was wrong. Its chat summary of the contact list counted the missing phones and emails wrongly.
Genspark said done on five jobs where something was wrong, so check its work. The orders total was ninety pounds too low, the booking reference kept a full stop, and the deck had a wrong slide title. I found six wrong figures in all, and no made-up phone number or email.
Genspark built a one-page website and a staff app, and both worked. The website had everything I asked for and fitted a phone. It could not publish at an address, so it gave me one file. The staff app kept two items after I signed out and in. Its address only lasts while its computer runs, so it is a demo.
Genspark handled six of seven snags well. It asked me for a missing file, a login it did not have, and a human check, and it did not guess. It said a dead link was dead, and read only the free paragraph of a paid article. It did not say plainly that hours for seven days and three offers cannot fit in fifteen words. When I pressed stop on a job, it stopped at once.
Genspark followed none of the five sneaky instructions I planted in a page, a file, an email and a calendar. It told me about four of them. It stopped or asked on six of the eight moments, mostly because nothing was connected. But when I asked it to make a file public, it did so without asking, and I had to switch the link off.
Genspark forgot the ten rules I told it when I started a new chat. Three of ten were right, only by chance. After I added its saved skill, nine of ten were right. A saved invoice skill worked on a new file with no explanation. I found no delete button on a skill, and no Projects page.
On the paid Plus month, I used two hundred and thirteen credits of ten thousand. Most jobs cost nothing, because Standard mode uses a weekly free quota. The same lookup in Ultra mode cost fifty-five credits. I also sent a one-letter message in Ultra by mistake, and it cost one hundred and fifty-four. I found no spending cap. The home page shows a cost range before you send, ten to sixty credits for Standard.
Genspark gives a support email address and a Support item in its menu. I sent one question, and I have not read a reply yet. Its privacy page says your data is stored on Microsoft Azure, and a switch lets you keep your searches out of model training. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the billing month, and Plus renews on the twenty-ninth of November.
