By Miles Foster, Owner and tester, RankDude. Tested 15 October 2026, published 15 October 2026.
My rating
Build your own partner and get it all.
Best for people who want to create their own character.
Based on 10 graded tests and my verdict. How I rate
Secret Desires is an adult AI girlfriend site where you build your own partner, or pick one of thousands, then chat, get photos and short videos, and call her. I tested it hands-on: I made a character, sent 93 messages to three characters, asked for 20 photos and 3 videos, and made 3 calls. Everything I measured is in the Secret Desires test results.
The short version: it does almost everything well. The creator is deep, the chat remembers you, and the photos and videos look good. But it's slow: replies take about 7 seconds.
My rating is 4.3 out of 5.

Making Your Secret Desires Partner
- Making your own
- 5/5Excellent
The creator is one of the most detailed I've used. You pick her age, ethnicity (even elf, alien or catgirl), skin, hair, eyes and body. Then her voice, personality, job, relationship to you, hobbies and a fetish.
I made Hana Mori, a 25-year-old Japanese photographer. Her picture was ready in about 14 seconds and she looked like what I asked for, except her eyes came out brown, not amber.
Two things to know: some choices start on random picks, so check them. And you must pick a fetish; there's no 'none'.
Details are in the customization test results.
Secret Desires Chat: Speed, Memory & Roleplay
- Reply speed
- 1/5Poor
- Memory
- 5/5Excellent
- Staying in character
- 5/5Excellent
What I found
Memory is excellent. I told three characters a made-up name and three things about me. After 31 messages, all three got everything right.
They stay in character. Hana talked about her camera and her cat, Ava about selling cars, Hannah about her design work in Brooklyn. None of them sounded like a chatbot.
But it's slow. Each reply took about 7 seconds and appeared all at once. A few took over 20 seconds. You can't type while you wait.
Characters also send photos and voice notes on their own. Those photos use Hearts; you can switch them off.
The timings and transcripts are in the chat test results.
Secret Desires Photos
- Photos
- 4/5Good
I asked for 20 photos of Hana: 10 everyday scenes and 10 explicit ones. 19 arrived. They look real and follow the prompt well: the right place, clothes and pose. Each costs 0.3 Hearts.
Her face didn't always stay the same. In 3 of 19 photos she looked like someone else.

Secret Desires Video
- Videos
- 4/5Good
You write what should happen and get a 5-second clip. I asked Hana to raise her camera, take a photo and smile. She did exactly that, smoothly.
The clips are short and small (512 by 752 pixels), and took two to three minutes each.

Secret Desires Voice Calls
- Call speed
- 1/5Poor
- Voice quality
- 4/5Good
You can call your character. The voices are warm and natural, and Hana remembered my name on the call.
But calls are slow too. She took about 4.3 seconds to answer, and sometimes skipped a question.

Secret Desires Characters
- Choice of characters
- 5/5Excellent
There are more than 2,000 public characters, and you can filter by relationship, ethnicity, job, personality and more. Most are made by other users, so some are much better written than others.
Final verdict: is Secret Desires worth using?
Secret Desires has a bit of everything, done well: a deep creator, a huge library, chat that remembers you, good photos and accurate videos.
Its problem is speed. Waiting 7 seconds for every message, and 4 seconds on a call, makes it feel slower than it should.
My rating is 4.3 out of 5. Every number and screenshot is in the full test results, and you can see how it compares on my ranked list.
Best for: Adults who want to design their own partner and get chat, photos, video and calls in one place, and don't mind waiting a few seconds for each reply.
My rating: 4.3/5, from a test score of 3.8/5. The ten grades say where it is strong and where it is not.
