Market demand
1Is the AI text to speech tool market growing in 2026?
Shrinking.
Over two years, visits went from 17M in November 2024 to a high of 31M in January 2025, and stand at 18M in October 2026. Five sites take 83% of visits, so one ranking change at the top moves the whole line.

Miles explains
I only call a market growing when visits and name searches agree. Here visits are down and name searches are down, so they agree.
Search trends
2How many people search for AI text to speech tools in 2026?
“ai text to speech” is searched about 40,500 times a month worldwide, 30% of it in the US.
Google Trends barely registered “ai text to speech” until December 2022; interest then climbed to its peak in May 2026. Americans make 30% of the searches but only 7.8% of the visits, because the big sites also draw heavily from India, United Kingdom and Canada.

Google Trends shows direction, not volume. Interest is lower than a year ago, and I only trust that when the visits move the same way.
Monthly analysis
3What changed in the AI text to speech tool market in October 2026?
Fewer visits than a year ago, fewer people searching by name, and the next six months look like a slide.
The fastest growers over the year, Speechma, Listnr and RecCloud, grew fastest, mostly from a smaller base. The losers, led by FineVoice, lost most of their search visits (-82%).

- Biggest gain this month
- RecCloud +45%
- Biggest loss this month
- VEED -27%
Miles explains
Huge percentages like Speechma’s +151% usually mean one site won a big Google ranking from a small start. I watch whether it holds the next month.
Monthly forecast
4What happens next for AI text to speech tools?
I expect November 2026 to be about the same as October 2026, and the next six months to look down.
The forecast carries the level of recent months forward, not the trend line, because that version missed least when tested on past months. November is usually a quieter month than average for searches, but the calendar did not improve the forecast, so it is left out.

Download the data
6Can I download the AI text to speech tool data?
Yes. Every number on these pages comes from two CSV files, free to download.
sites.csv has one row per site: its Google US position for “ai text to speech”, Tranco rank, Chrome UX tier, visits from Google worldwide and in the US, name searches, Domain Rating and referring domains, with the month each figure covers. market.csv has the monthly totals across the tracked sites: visits worldwide and in the US, name searches and referring domains. Blanks mean the source had no figure, never zero.
