Miles explains
I only call a market growing when visits and name searches agree. Here visits are down and name searches are up, so they don’t agree yet.
Search trends
2How many people search for AI test automation tools in 2026?
“ai test automation tools” is searched about 260 times a month worldwide, 27% of it in the US.
Google Trends barely registered “ai test automation tools” until June 2025; interest then climbed to its peak in March 2026. Americans make 27% of the searches but only 17.4% of the visits, because the big sites also draw heavily from India, United Kingdom and Canada.

Google Trends shows direction, not volume. Interest is lower than a year ago, and I only trust that when the visits move the same way.
Monthly analysis
3What changed in the AI test automation market in October 2026?
Fewer visits than a year ago, but more people searching by name, and the next six months look flat.
The fastest growers over the year, Opkey, Parasoft and Tricentis, grew fastest, mostly from a smaller base. The losers, led by Meticulous, lost most of their search visits (-88%).

Huge percentages like Opkey’s +258% usually mean one site won a big Google ranking from a small start. I watch whether it holds the next month.

TestMu AI alone has 24% of all visits. That’s a big lead, but one Google update can close it fast.
