Every month I measure Google visits to the 12 AI script generator sites I track, and how often people search for them by name. In October 2026 they got about 952 million visits, 305% more than a year ago and 4% more than in September 2026.

  • The tracked sites got 952,036,042 visits from Google in October 2026, 305% more than a year ago and 4% more than in September 2026. ChatGPT, which takes 96.5% of all the visits, accounts for most of the rise (98% of it). Without it, visits would be up 102.3% on a year ago instead of up 304.7%. ChatGPT made most of the move in October 2026: it gained 33,563,995 of the market's 38,561,700 visits; without it, visits to the other sites rose 17.6% on September 2026.

Judge this line on the year, not the last dot: visits are 305% above a year ago, and this is the highest month in two years. One site winning or losing a ranking can swing a single month a lot.

People typed a site’s name into Google 6% more often than in October 2025 (+6%). That is the loyalty number, because nobody types a name by accident.
