Every month I add up the Google visits to the 9 AI resume checker sites I track (DataForSEO estimates) and how often people in the US search for them by name (Google Ads). In October 2026 they got about 3.4 million visits. Resume.io alone takes 46.1% of the visits, so the totals mostly follow it. Without it, visits would be down 43.7% on a year ago instead of down 36.3%.

No. The 9 tracked AI resume checker sites got 3,355,214 visits from Google search in October 2026. That is 36% fewer visits than in October 2025, and 19% fewer visits than in September 2026.
The highest month of the last two years was December 2024, with 7,641,669 visits; October 2026 is 56% below it. In the US, visits were 293,290, down 38% on a year ago.

Visits are lower than a year ago and lower than in September 2026, so the fall is still going. Name searches (-22%) and Google Trends interest in the term (-25%) fell too, so people are less interested, not just finding these sites less often.

Fewer than before. People in the US searched Google for the names of the counted AI resume checker sites 58,030 times in September 2026, 22% fewer searches than in October 2025. Someone who searches a site’s name already knows it, so this is the clearest sign of people coming back on purpose. The term “ai resume checker” itself gets about 2,400 US searches a month (Google Ads, 12-month average).
