Market demand
1Is the AI job search tool market growing in 2026?
Shrinking.
Over two years, visits went from 2.0M in November 2024 to a high of 4.7M in December 2024, and stand at 1.4M in October 2026. Five sites take 75.9% of visits, so one ranking change at the top moves the whole line.

Miles explains
I only call a market growing when visits and name searches agree. Here visits are down and name searches are down, so they agree.
Search trends
2How many people search for AI job search tools in 2026?
“ai job search tools” is searched about 2,900 times a month worldwide, 66% of it in the US.
Google Trends barely registered “ai job search tools” until February 2025; interest then climbed to its peak in March 2026. Americans make 66% of the searches but only 21.4% of the visits, because the big sites also draw heavily from India, Canada and Brazil.

Google Trends shows direction, not volume. Interest is lower than a year ago, and I only trust that when the visits move the same way.
Monthly analysis
3What changed in the AI job search tool market in October 2026?
Fewer visits than a year ago, fewer people searching by name, and the next six months look like a slide.
The fastest growers over the year, lockedin-ai, JobCopilot and Kickresume, grew fastest, mostly from a smaller base. The losers, led by Huntr, lost most of their search visits (-91%).

Huge percentages like lockedin-ai’s +150% usually mean one site won a big Google ranking from a small start. I watch whether it holds the next month.

4What happens next for AI job search tools?
I expect November 2026 to be about the same as October 2026, and the next six months to look down.
The forecast carries the level of recent months forward, not the trend line, because that version missed least when tested on past months.

Resume Worded alone has 24% of all visits. That’s a big lead, but one Google update can close it fast.

6Can I download the AI job search tool data?
Yes. Every number on these pages comes from two CSV files, free to download.
sites.csv has one row per site: its Google US position for “ai job search tools”, Tranco rank, Chrome UX tier, visits from Google worldwide and in the US, name searches, Domain Rating and referring domains, with the month each figure covers. market.csv has the monthly totals across the tracked sites: visits worldwide and in the US, name searches and referring domains. Blanks mean the source had no figure, never zero.
