Every month I add up the Google visits to the 20 AI front desk sites I track (DataForSEO estimates) and how often people in the US search for them by name (Google Ads). In October 2026 they got about 284,384 visits. Frontdesk (My AI Front Desk) lost more visits in October 2026 (50,474) than the whole market did (36,019); without it, visits to the other sites rose 7.7% on September 2026.

1.Are more people visiting AI front desk sites than a year ago?

No. The 20 tracked AI front desk sites got 284,384 visits from Google search in October 2026. That is 28% fewer visits than in October 2025, and 11% fewer visits than in September 2026.

The highest month of the last two years was June 2026, with 651,613 visits; October 2026 is 56% below it. In the US, visits were 139,697, down 15% on a year ago.

Miles explains

Visits are lower than a year ago. Most of the drop since September 2026 is one site: Frontdesk (My AI Front Desk) went from 131,904 to 81,430 visits. Without it, the other sites grew 8% on the month. Name searches fell (-7%), but Google Trends interest in the term rose (+40%). The counted sites are losing ground; that does not mean interest in AI front desk sites is falling.

Fewer than before. People in the US searched Google for the names of the counted AI front desk sites 28,530 times in September 2026, 7% fewer searches than in October 2025. Someone who searches a site’s name already knows it, so this is the clearest sign of people coming back on purpose. The term “ai front desk” itself gets about 390 US searches a month (Google Ads, 12-month average).
