Every month I measure Google visits to the 14 AI citation generator sites I track, and how often people search for them by name. In October 2026 they got about 32 million visits, 28% fewer than a year ago and 11% fewer than in September 2026.

- The tracked sites got 32,064,636 visits from Google in October 2026, 28% fewer than a year ago and 11% fewer than in September 2026. Grammarly, which takes 68.1% of all the visits, fell in line with the market (-29% on a year ago).
- “ai citation generator” gets about 1,300 US searches a month. People searched the site names 3,940,680 times in the US in September 2026, 32% less often than in October 2025.
