Google Trends barely registered “ai boyfriend” until February 2024; interest then climbed to its peak in May 2026. Americans make 45% of the searches but only 25.8% of the visits, because the big sites also draw heavily from India, United Kingdom and Brazil.

The fastest growers over the year, Candy AI, RomanticAI and PolyBuzz, grew fastest, mostly from a smaller base. The losers, led by SupaFriends, lost most of their search visits (-85%).
