Every month I measure Google visits to the 15 AI avatar generator sites I track, and how often people search for them by name. In October 2026 they got about 249 million visits, 4% fewer than a year ago but 4% more than in September 2026.

AI avatar generator market: the key numbers for October 2026

  • The tracked sites got 249,188,425 visits from Google in October 2026, 4% fewer than a year ago and 4% more than in September 2026. Canva, which takes 88.9% of all the visits, accounts for most of the fall (74% of it). Without it, visits would be down 9.6% on a year ago instead of down 4.4%. Canva gained more visits in October 2026 (13,048,805) than the whole market did (10,287,152); without it, visits to the other sites fell 9.0% on September 2026.
  • “ai avatar generator” gets about 2,900 US searches a month. People searched the site names 31,108,930 times in the US in September 2026, about as often as in October 2025.
  • 2 tracked sites are on Google’s first page for “ai avatar generator”; the highest is AI Studios at position 4. Canva is the most-visited site.

Judge this line on the year, not the last dot: visits are 4% below a year ago, and 15% below the April 2026 high. One site winning or losing a ranking can swing a single month a lot.

2How many people went looking

People typed a site’s name into Google about as often as in October 2025 (-1%). That is the loyalty number, because nobody types a name by accident.

The US is the single biggest market, but only about 10 in every 100 visits. India alone is 61.1% of the countries I measure outside it.
