AI video visits fell 17.7%. Americans didn't get the memo.
Worldwide visits from Google fell over a year. US visits and searches grew, and one name led the rush.

AI video generators got 17.7% fewer visits from Google worldwide in a year. In the US, visits went up 6.2%, and name searches rose 9.8%. One name is doing a lot of that pulling, and it is not the most visited site.
The short version
- -17.7%: worldwide visits from Google in a year.
- +6.2%: US visits, going the other way.
- 368,000: US searches for Higgsfield in September.
- Nearly 5x: Higgsfield's US search jump in a year.

The slow slide
The market peaked in February, at about 29 million visits.
Since then, it has mostly slid. September landed at about 22 million.
That's down 6.2% in one month. It's the lowest month since April 2025.
So where did all those visits go? One site explains a lot.
The Vidnoz hole
A year ago, Vidnoz had about 2.9 million visits from Google.
Now it has about 556,000. That's a drop of 81.1%.
The whole market lost about 4.8 million visits in that year.
Vidnoz alone lost about 2.4 million. That's half the market's drop. Ouch.
But Americans weren't joining the slide. Here's what they did instead.
America's other story
US visits rose to about 1.56 million. That's up 6.2% in a year.
US searches for brand names rose too, by 9.8%, to about 1.31 million.
The US is still small here. It brings only about 7% of visits.
Still, one name stands out in those searches. A lot.

The Higgsfield craze
In September, Americans searched for Higgsfield about 368,000 times.
A year ago, it was about 74,000. That's nearly five times more.
It's also nearly double D-ID and HeyGen, at about 201,000 each.
Its visits grew 236.4% in a year, to about 2.16 million.
But here's the odd bit. In September, those visits dipped by about 313,000.
The rest of the race
invideo is still the most visited site, with about 3 million visits.
But its visits fell in September. Its US searches fell too.
Kling AI grew 157.2% in a year, to about 2.1 million.
Wan jumped 578.3%, to about 493,000. That's wild.

How I measured this
Visits are DataForSEO estimates of visits from Google search. They are estimates, not people. Name searches are US Google Ads figures.

More from the blog
This market hit a two-year low. Without one site, it grew.
In September, one site lost more visits than the whole market did. Here is how that happened.
Vercel lost more visits than the whole market did. How?
The leader shrank by nearly half, yet its rivals kept climbing. The math is stranger than it looks.
4x more searches for Slidesgo. So why did its visits drop?
Its name searches jumped since July. Its Google visits fell anyway, and its loss matches the whole market's.
