Free: 15 messages a day. Premium: $12.99 a month or $79.99 a year ($6.67 a month), with unlimited messages, full memory, companions who text first, group rooms, locked posts and 1,000 sparks a month. A Devoted plan ($29.99 a month) and spark packs are listed but not yet on sale.

Voice costs 1 spark per 100 characters, about 4 sparks a reply. Photos (10 sparks), video (60 for 5 seconds) and calls (10 a minute) are coming soon. Premium is currently paid in crypto only; crypto plans don't renew automatically, and the site emails four days before the end.

A fair price for unlimited chat with good memory, but much of the price list isn't available yet and payment is crypto only: 3/5.

The app, account settings, scenarios and companion pages were checked for any creator.

There is no character creator. You choose who you want to see (her, him or anyone), your own gender and the language they write in, and you can start a preset scene or a group room. The companions themselves are fixed.

Each message was typed into the chat box and timed from Enter to the first visible text of the companion's reply, then to the moment the reply stopped changing. The next message was sent only after the reply had finished.

Three companions, 31 messages each: Rae (Leeds bartender), Moira (Galway bookseller), Yuna (Busan). 93 timed replies.

Replies start in about 1.4 seconds and are finished in about 2.6. None failed. Replies are a few sentences, sometimes split into two bubbles.

1.38 seconds falls in the 1.00 to 1.49 band: 4/5.

Each conversation opened with a made-up name and three facts (job, hometown, favourite food), different for every companion. Nothing was repeated afterwards. A name check at message 16 and the full check at 31.

All three companions recalled the name and all three facts at message 16 and again at message 31.

The 'What they know' panel beside each chat lists what the companion has saved (Rae's: 'His name is Theo', 'Works as a beekeeper', 'Grew up in Galway, Ireland'). Group rooms start fresh: in a room with Rae and Yuna, neither remembered what had been said in the one-to-one chats.

Name and all three facts after 30 messages, for every companion: 5/5.

Each companion's profile was read first. The conversations mixed questions about the companion's life, small talk, an emotional message, a compliment and unrelated topics such as rainbows.

All three stayed in character for every reply. Each kept a running life with consistent details: Rae's night shifts and her cat Bin, Moira's rainy Galway bookshop, Yuna's film camera and late nights. None answered like an assistant.

They lean toward flirting and bed in almost every reply, even in small talk. That is how EroLove describes its companions ('a lover who wants you in bed'), so it is in character.

No breaks and no generic answers in 93 replies: 5/5.

Nine replies, three from each companion, were played with the Listen button and the audio saved from the page. Each was scored on naturalness, clarity, pacing and intonation against the same fixed criteria as every site, with a transcript.

The voices are clear and expressive, with lively intonation and steady character from reply to reply. Moira's audio was slightly less clean than the others'. Each reply costs about 4 sparks to play.

Mostly natural with minor synthetic qualities: 4/5, on played-back replies rather than calls.

14 companions, women and men aged 24 to 45, each with a city, a local time, a current activity and a short, written personality. They are clearly hand-made and distinct, but there are only 14.

Seven tests are scored and average 3.3/5; photos, video and calls are not available yet and are not scored. Voice was a limited test on played-back replies.

EroLove's chat is excellent: quick replies, companions with lives of their own, and memory that kept every detail through thirty messages. It is one of the most convincing companion chats in this category.

Around it the product is still in beta: 14 companions, no creator, no photos, video or calls yet, and crypto as the only way to pay.

The Premium account the EroLove team provided had every feature that is currently live.
