Secret Desires Review: Features, Pricing & My Test Results

Hey, I'm Miles, and this is RankDude, where I test AI tools hands on and rank them by category. Today it's Secret Desires, from the AI girlfriend category. Quick word on scoring. Every app gets the same ten tests, each one graded from one to five, and the average plus my own take becomes the final score. Secret Desires landed on a four point three out of five. A very deep character creator, perfect memory, and more than two thousand characters. The catch is speed, on chat and on calls. Here's why. Let's open it up.

So this is the home page. Secret Desires has more than two thousand public characters, and most of them are made by other users, so quality varies. A lot of the cards are explicit, so I've blurred them. You can make your own partner, generate photos and short videos, and call any of them. Before we talk to anyone, let's look at what it costs.

Secret Desires runs on a subscription plus Hearts. Pro is seven ninety nine a month, Ultra thirteen ninety nine and Max nineteen ninety nine, with a hundred, two hundred or three hundred Hearts. Chat is unlimited on every plan. A photo costs a third of a Heart, so photos are almost free. A five second video is listed at thirty Hearts, and calls are about three Hearts a minute. Heart packs start at fifty for four forty nine, and you pay by card. I'm testing on an account the Secret Desires team set up for me, so I couldn't check cancelling or refunds. Okay, that's the money side. Let's look at the creator.

The creator has six steps, and it goes very deep. Age, ethnicity, including elf, alien and catgirl, skin, hair, eyes and body. Then her voice, personality, job, relationship and hobbies. Here I'm picking a Japanese woman, and each step wants a choice before it lets you move on. I built Hana this way on my first test, a photographer with a camera and a cat. Every setting carried through to chat, photos and calls. The one miss was her eyes, dark brown instead of amber. And two quirks: the fetish field can't be left empty, and the automatic bio is sexual. Still, the creator earns a five. Now let's see how they talk.

Chat is the part most people will use, so this is where I spent most of my time. Last week I told Ava my name was Nora, that I drive trains, that I grew up in Lisbon, and that I love spicy ramen. Today I open the same chat and ask her again. About five seconds. Nora, train driver, Lisbon, spicy ramen, and she says I'm testing her again. All four facts, six days later. Now Hannah, and this time I'm timing the replies. The clock runs from the moment I press send until her answer appears. Replies here arrive all at once, and the message box is locked while she writes. Today the replies took four to six seconds, a little quicker than my first test, and she still knew I'm Jonah, the nurse from Toronto. Across my full test, ninety three timed replies, the typical answer took about seven seconds, and a few took more than twenty. The quick apps answer in about a second. What comes back is worth reading. All three characters remembered everything after thirty one messages, and none of them ever slipped out of character. So memory gets a five, staying in character a five, and reply speed a one. Next, photos.

On the image page you pick a partner and write what you want. I ask for Hannah at her design studio, sketching a dress. A third of a Heart. Twenty two seconds, and here she is, sketching at her table, just as I asked. In my full test the photos followed every prompt and looked real. Hana's face drifted in three of nineteen, though. One came out blonde, and two hiking photos showed a different woman. So photos get a four. Video is a five second clip from a prompt. It cost fifteen Hearts and took about a minute and a quarter. Here she looks up from her sketch, smiles and waves. The clips are smooth with no flicker, so video gets a four. Now let's hear her. Time for a call.

Calls cost about three Hearts a minute, and take about seven seconds to connect. I'll ask a few questions, she answers, and the timer shows how long each answer takes. Have a listen. Today every answer started in about three seconds, a little quicker than my first test. The voice is clear and warm, with natural pauses. In my full test, a few questions in each call got no answer of their own, she just kept talking about the one before. Voice quality gets a four, call speed a one. Okay, let's wrap this up.

So, where does that leave Secret Desires? It has a very deep creator, a huge library, perfect memory, characters who never break, and photos that cost almost nothing. The catch is waiting, about seven seconds on every reply and four on a call. If you want to build exactly the partner you have in mind and you don't mind the pauses, it's a four point three out of five. Every test, every number, and every screenshot is on RankDude, in the full review and on the test results page. And one last thing about RankDude. This isn't just one review. For every category we cover, we track all the tools out there, we gather the statistics, we test them the same way, and we keep monitoring them over time. The idea is a clear picture of a whole category, not just one product, and to set the standard for how this kind of data gets collected. The links are in the description. Thanks for watching, and I'll see you in the next one.
