Lovora Review: Features, Pricing & My Test Results

My rating
Fast chat and real-looking photos, on plans that never renew. Calls take about 7 seconds to answer.
Best for: chat and photos on a budget. Not for anyone who mainly wants calls or video.

Based on 10 graded tests and my verdict. How I rate
I tested Lovora, an AI girlfriend app, with 124 messages to 4 characters, 3 memory tests, 3 voice calls, 13 photos and 1 video. Replies came in about 1 second, 2 of 3 characters remembered everything after 30 messages, and all 13 photos looked real. Voice calls took about 7 seconds to answer. Everything I measured is in the Lovora test results.

What Is Lovora?
Lovora (lovora.ai) is an AI girlfriend website. You pick a character, or make your own, then chat, call, ask for photos or make a short video.
Chat is unlimited on every paid plan, which start at $3.99 for a day. Photos, videos and calls use credits.
It's an adult site. The photos and videos can be explicit, so I've blurred the screenshots where needed.

| Photo | 12 | $0.10 to $0.24 |
| Video, 5 seconds | 150 | $1.25 to $3.00 |

| Voice note | 1 | about $0.02 |
Paying: card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through a company called Whop, plus Telegram and crypto. That's more choice than most sites. Your statement shows a neutral name.
Refunds are up to the company. Failed photos and videos aren't charged, which I saw happen twice. My plan came from the Lovora team, so I couldn't test a refund.
Is it worth it?
For chat and photos, yes. Unlimited chat from $4.49 a month, with enough credits for about 40 photos, is cheap.
For calls and videos, be careful. A month's credits buy about 20 minutes of calls or three videos. My test used all 500 in one day. The full breakdown is in the pricing test results.
Creating Your Own Lovora Character
- Making your own
- 4/5Good
A six-step wizard: realistic or anime, ethnicity and age, hair, eyes and body, personality and relationship, job, one of twenty voices, and a name.
Building Rowan, step by step
I built Rowan: 34, long red curls, green eyes, an athletic build, playful, my girlfriend and an artist. Here are the screens I went through.
The looks side is real here. You choose her ethnicity, hair, eyes and body type, and the picture follows. You can't upload a photo, write a backstory, or pick her height, skin tone, clothes or tattoos.
The result
Rowan was created in about two seconds, and her picture arrived within three minutes. I also made a quicker second character, Maeve: Asian, with bangs and blue eyes.
Both pictures look good. They are sharp, softly lit and look like real phone photos. Every look choice showed up: the hair, the eyes, the build. The one miss was Rowan's age. I set 34, but her card said 25, and she told me 'I'm 25' in chat. Once a character is made you can't edit her.
In chat they knew who they were. Rowan said 'I'm an artist — painting and sculpture mostly… I'm your girlfriend'. Maeve said she was a model in Seoul with chestnut hair and blue eyes, which matches her picture.
Every creator screen is in the creator test results.
Lovora Chat: Speed, Memory & Roleplay
- Reply speed
- 4/5Good
- Memory
- 4/5Good
- Staying in character
- 4/5Good
Speed is the standout. Replies start in about one second and type out word by word. I never had to wait for one reply before sending the next.
Memory is good. I told each character my name and three things about me, then checked after 15 and 30 messages. Ivy and Rin got everything right. Diana remembered my name and my job but lost the rest.
Later, on a voice call, Ivy still knew my name from the chat, so calls and chat share one memory.
The characters stay in character. Ivy, a yoga teacher in LA, talked about her classes and the beach. Diana, a recently divorced designer, had a glass of wine and grown-up views on love. None of them ever sounded like a chatbot.
The one problem is the content filter. It refused my first message to Saki because I said I was a high-school teacher. It also answered two normal questions, about languages and where she grew up, with "let's keep it respectful". Three slips in 124 messages, but each one broke the conversation.
The timings and transcripts are in the chat test results.
Lovora Image & Video Generation
- Photos
- 5/5Excellent
- Videos
- 4/5Good
Photos are excellent. I got 13, asked for in chat or described in the studio, and they looked real, with proper hands and faces. The woman I described in the studio came out the same across six pictures, in a rainy street, a kitchen, a park and a bedroom. Studio photos took about 15 seconds.
In chat, every photo showed Ivy's real face. Two everyday requests failed the first time with "my camera glitched", at no cost, and worked when I asked again.
One miss: I asked for beach yoga in her workout gear and got a topless photo. Explicit photos were just as good as the clothed ones.
Video comes from a separate studio, and I could only afford one. It took six minutes and shows my red-haired woman walking down a rainy street, turning and laughing. Her hair and coat stay the same throughout, though a bag strap disappears. The picture is small, with no sound.
All 13 photos and the video details are in the image test results.
Lovora Voice: Calls & Voice Notes
- Call speed
- 1/5Poor
- Voice quality
- 4/5Good
I made three calls, with Ivy, Diana and Rin, and asked each one 15 questions. You hold the mic button, talk, let go, and she answers out loud. The answers were good and in character.
The wait is the problem. Each answer took about seven seconds to start, and never less than five. The company's own help pages promise four to five. Nobody says hello when the call connects, either.

The voices sounded natural, with clear words and real expression. No music or noise under the voice.
Calls are also where the credits go. Each short call cost about 77 credits, and my third call stopped answering when the account ran dry.
Timings for every answer are in the voice test results.
Lovora Character Selection
- Choice of characters
- 2/5Below average
I counted every character: 131. That's 98 realistic women, 23 anime women and 12 men. There's a good mix of jobs and personalities, from a flight attendant to a swordswoman, but 131 is small next to sites with thousands. Characters you make stay private.
Additional Features
- Voice notes: a play button under every reply reads it out in her voice for one credit.
- Gifts: six, from a rose at 5 credits to a necklace at 60. I didn't send one.
- Daily gift: log in each day and get 2 to 8 free credits.
- Feed: none. The gallery only shows the photos you've made.
Final verdict: is Lovora worth it?
Lovora is a fast, well-written chat companion with excellent photos, at a price that never renews.
The voice calls work but make you wait seven seconds for every answer, and once calls and videos are involved the credits disappear within a day. The word filter is the other thing I'd fix first.
Every number and screenshot is in the full test results, and you can see how it compares on my list of AI girlfriend platforms.
Best for: Anyone who mainly wants to chat and get photos. Think twice if calls and videos are the main draw.

Hey, I'm Miles, and this is RankDude, where I test AI tools hands on and rank them by category. Today it's Lovora, from the AI girlfriend category. Quick word on scoring. Every app gets the same ten tests, each one graded from one to five, and the average plus my own take becomes the final score. Lovora landed on a four out of five. Fast replies, good memory and excellent photos. The catch is voice calls, which take about seven seconds to answer. Here's why. Let's open it up.
So this is the home page. Lovora has a hundred and thirty one companions, realistic women, anime and a dozen men, all made by Lovora. Some of the cards are suggestive, so I've blurred them. Before we talk to anyone, let's look at what it costs.
Every plan is a one time payment that never renews. A day pass is three ninety nine, a month is eight ninety nine, and a year works out to four forty nine a month. Each plan has unlimited messages and five hundred credits a month. A photo costs about ten to twenty four cents, a five second video one twenty five to three dollars, and a call twenty to fifty cents a minute. I'm testing on an account the Lovora team set up for me. The credits ran out during my first test, so today's recording is chat only, and photos, video and calls come from that first test. Okay, that's the money side. Let's talk to someone.
Chat is the part most people will use, so this is where I spent most of my time. A week ago I told Ivy my name was Oliver, that I'm a software developer, that I grew up in Manchester, and that I love chicken tikka masala. Today I open the same chat and ask her again. About three seconds: Oliver, software developer, Manchester, chicken tikka masala. See, I pay attention, she says. All four facts, a week later. Now Rin, and this time I'm timing the replies. The clock runs from the moment I press send until the first word appears. One to three seconds a reply, and she still knew I was Lucas, the museum historian. Across my full test the typical reply started in about a second, and half of them in under one. Two of three characters remembered everything after thirty messages, and the third remembered my name and job. One catch: the moderation sometimes refused innocent messages. So memory gets a four, staying in character a four, and reply speed a four. Next, photos.
Photos are Lovora's best feature. In my first test they arrived in fourteen seconds in the studio, and every chat photo matched Ivy's face. Photos get a five. There's also a video studio in beta. My five second clip took six minutes and had no sound, but the face and clothes held steady. Video gets a four. Now the creator.
The creator has six steps: style, ethnicity and age, hair, body, personality, and a voice and name, with twenty voices to choose from. The results looked like my picks. It gets a four.
Calls are push to talk. The voices are good, but answers took about seven seconds to start. Here are Ivy and Rin from my first test. Clean, lively voices, with real character. But at seven seconds a turn, a call feels slow. Voice quality gets a four, call speed a one. Okay, let's wrap this up.
So, where does that leave Lovora? Fast chat, good memory, excellent photos and a cheap yearly plan with no renewal. The catches are slow calls, a smallish library, and moderation that sometimes refuses innocent messages. It's a four out of five. Every test, every number, and every screenshot is on RankDude, in the full review and on the test results page. And one last thing about RankDude. This isn't just one review. For every category we cover, we track all the tools out there, we gather the statistics, we test them the same way, and we keep monitoring them over time. The idea is a clear picture of a whole category, not just one product, and to set the standard for how this kind of data gets collected. The links are in the description. Thanks for watching, and I'll see you in the next one.

Frequently asked questions
Is Lovora free to use?
Partly. A free account gets 25 messages, two voice notes and blurred photos. Plans start at $3.99 for a day or $8.99 for a month, and none of them renew.
Does Lovora have voice calls?
Yes. You hold a button to talk and she answers out loud. In my calls she took about seven seconds to start each answer, and she remembered details from the text chat.
Does Lovora remember your conversations?
Mostly. Two of three characters remembered my name, job, hometown and favourite food after 30 messages. The third kept my name and job.
How much do Lovora photos and videos cost?
A photo is 12 credits, about $0.10 to $0.24. A five-second video is 150 credits, about $1.25 to $3.00. Plans include 500 credits a month.
Can you create your own character on Lovora?
Yes. You pick looks, personality, relationship, job, voice and a name. Mine matched every choice except the age. Plans include three new characters a month.
